Eric Whitacre is perfection. Not only is the THE most attractive composer to ever exist, but his work is just so entrancing. The atonal qualities and the strange harmonies he puts in there are just amazing. Did I mention how hot he is? My director has a picture of him on her desk, signed. She treasures it.

Our women's choir is performing song at Carnegie Hall in May. It really is such a wonderful piece.

I accompanied this song in my high school choir this fall and will be singing it in Illinois All-State Honors Choir at the end of this month. Eric Whitacre's music is absolutely perfect.

I was in Kentucky All-State this year and last year :)

This year this was one of our songs <3

And i dont know if anybody knows this but The Seal Lullaby was made for a Disney movie about seals but the movie was never made...so it was made into sheet music :)

Very good version. My choir took it a bit slower, which I think adds to the feel of the piece, but this is still very good. Love the expressive dynamics1

I LOVE ERIC WHITACRE"S WORK. which is why im using this as an incentive to make all the auditions including state just so i can sing this song with an all state choir :) this will be my sophomore year in high school and last year (freshman) i went all the way to state auditions as a second soprano :) so yeah imma work my butt off for this song :)

@showofas we are doing this song for concert choir and each class sings a different part pretty much and my class is doing soprano 2 but its seems pretty easy but ive never really heard the other parts much

My women's choir (there are 12 of us) are learning this. The 2nd soprano part is pretty hard :/ But this is a really good version :)
