I love this versionGulag Orkestar is good, but it doesn't have the raw energy of this version, I think.

First I heard Beirut was the album version of Scenic World last night at my friend E's place. Shortly into it, friend B raised a commotion and plugged in her ipod to demonstrate the only Scenic World she had ever known; this version.

Within 60 seconds, (of thoughtful groovin, not discussion) the room had come to consensus on the superiority of this version.

Also, thanks for putting it up! This is about the tenth time today I've floated back here to soak up that fluid accordion.

This version is so much better then the one on Gulag Orkestar! On the album version there isn't much left of that wonderfull main tune anymore.
