I would like to share a small story with the small remaining characters left. I got one off eBay as well (Silver in color), and it is lite as well as you demonstrate here, it also has very slow reading/writing speeds (USB 1.1 to be exact), as well as it has an issue saving data, I have been storing files to it, and later come back and they would not be there, I've lot atleast 25GB of files by this, but luckily, they are files I only downloaded anyway :P

I research everything i purchase I seen the exact same ones look like in the same packages selling on ebay after i checked with the people who purchased it and contacted them they all say it works fine and they paid around 60-100$.

I have in my hands a 256GB Kingston datatraveler 300. It turns out it has a toshiba tc58nvg4d2eta00 chip, that i think its just a 2GB !!! Great drive, it went directly to the trash can !!!
