The problem with the economy began basically because the government (along with Obama) was forcing banks to make high risk loans. This created a housing bubble which eventually popped and caused the credit crisis we have now. Now the government is trying to stop everything from normalizing by building the bubble again...

Im not from the US, but I was a victim of the crisis. The bank I worked for (ING) had to let go of a lot of people.

BUT, on my first day of unemployment i found a new job, AND a week later I found an even better job, wich started last week, and believe me, your President gave me hope with his speeches. For me it worked, I got the job I hoped for, and Im sure many more will...keep the faith

I dont think that at all, because first of all many many many lost their jobs or arent able to find a job because of many various reasons.

I just wish that people would understand that President Obama is no wizard, he cant fix it with one wave of his hand. He is good, but he is not THAT good ;-)

The role of government is not to tell a company how much to pay its CEO. The role of government is to maintain or roads and bridges and to maintain law and order.
