some people might be confused about this but, the creator of fma made the manga halfway but bones wanted the manga to be a anime but since she wasn't done the manga, she told them to make a different one not following the story (sort of) of the book. she didn't help with it part and thus, this is how this version of fma was made. btw i got this from vol. 4 or 8.......

@windkai They kind of explain it. It's just "our world" is supposed to be the "other side of the gate" or "the truth". Most stories tend to do that. They throw a whole bunch of things at you to reel you in, then at the very end they throw some random stuff, but you're so into the story that rationality doesn't matter. lol This is why I liked Brotherhood better. It made more sense to me at least.

There is one reason and one reason only that I like Envy a little better in this series than in Brotherhood (because I won't deny that I hate him in both) and that is because he beats up the ONE character that I hate even MORE than him (among the homunculi, I have too many hated characters in this series and most of them are 2003!FMA-only). I could watch Envy beat up chibi!fail-Wrath all day and never get tired of it. ^_^
