  • vestibulocochlear is somatic sensory, not visceral sensory i think? Amazing videos though, brilliant job.

  • Thak you so much! Just a question, which of the nerves got afferent fibers and which got efferent fibres? My teachers puts alot of weight into that and really need to know

    Some Say Marry Money, But My Brother Says Big Bras Matter Most

    (Cranial 1 to 12 --> S=sensory, M=motor, B=both)

  • Thanks Walid... May Allah bless you more!

  • first of all thanks so much for your videos,

    second,i am not sure the V1 AND V2 have any VS nerves but just SS nerves,

    and the SS of 2/3 of the toungh is provided by V3 and the VS of this part of toung is from facial nerve,please let us know if i am rigth,thanks again

  • yes, VS(prefer to call it special sensory- taste) of the tongue of 2/3 is provided by the chorda tymphani hitchiking( this is from facial CN VII) with the lingual nerve that detect the SS(prefer to call it general sensory).

    Lingual nerve is the branch of Vc or V3.

    the others posterior 1/3 of tounge, special and general sensory are by CN IX, glassopharyngeal.
