i don't think you are playing the entire song in the original version, but are some aspects of your version that helped me complete my interpretation. And if anyone doesn't like this comment, this is just my opinion, backed up by looking at the chords played in the music video

I disagree... I don't think this version you're teaching is a good medium between what's on the song and "ease" of play. If you're going to teach it, I think you ought to do it the right way. If you spent half the time studying grammar as you do trolling the comments section on YouTube, you may pass yourself off as intelligent enough to know anything about music. Pity.
