I've switched from the phone 3gs to the ATRIX and the ATRIX sucks. Im on my third one because the touch screens stoped working. The battery is terrible. the whole phone is laggy. Im switching back to the Iphone. O and playing music from the ATRIX is terrible. The only thing I will miss is my android joke app

Great videos. I think vlingo will surpass siri. If you set vlingo to car mode you can activate it by saying hey vlingo, then its listening.

Have you tried using a voice recognition app like Vlingo on both phones? I don't use the stock android voice control on my Atrix. Vlingo has been a much better search engine and overall tool with the phone. I know they make versions for both. I'm a fan of the fingerprint scanner as well, too bad to see it disappear on the Atrix 2. You clearly like your Atrix, as do I, and its nice to see something that was once billed as a top notch phone still performing that way against 4 day old new ones.

@SuperDrummerJay I actually prefer Android voice recognition to Vlingo. That being said, Vlingo is a good tool. Yeah I love my Atrix. It holds up quite well to the brand new iPhone.

Should be noted that IOS uses hardware acceleration and Android does not so that's why the scrolling and pinch to zoom is a lot smoother. Hopefully this will be added on ICS.

@DC89 Right now I'm using the iPhone 4S as my main phone. I'm doing this for 1 month as I've never had an iPhone before and being familiar with all mobile OS's will make me a better reviewer.

@techharvest the matrix has 1gb of ram but android doesn't take advantage of that. it only uses about 400mb of ram. also you should do another comparison once ice cream sandwich is released. the matrix did very well basically on par for a phone that's 8 months old. I mean the matrix 2 is out now

who cares if one phone is 2 seconds faster then the other . it means nothing. we all know android is better and their phones will always be ahead of the iPhone. also if you like talking to your phone check out voice actions in the android market its a copy of sari

I think iPhone is only greater on the fun scale. Android phones have better specs and software.
