What light do you recommend to be a tactical enough to blind an attacker, light enough to mount on a rifle, and still provide the typical uses of a flashlight during some type of "safe" mode? By the way, explaining what to look for in a tactical flashlight would be a good survival video. A lot of people do not realize how handy a hundred dollar light can be.

you know, if you have the flashlight focused to where the beam is as small as it can be it will act like a laser, giving you the ability to just point and shoot at close range, you wouldnt even have to look down your sights. perfect for if someone decides to break into your house in the middle of the night.

How does the sling act with this mount? Forward sling attachement seems to be quite close to the mount and flashlight. Especially with pressure switch..

Or, get a large key ring and attach the sling to the front sight.

When the AR was pointed at the camera at the end, the light went off after the first shot. Was that intentional or did the shock of the recoil switch it off?

with my experience with mounted lights is. The mount scratches the barrel. I took mine off my A2 replaced the fore grip and put a quad rail. Then I put a sig fore grip with a light and laser. There are 3 options strobe, push button or just straight full on power
