Her ball meant everything to her in those years of solitary confinement at the zoo.

Her story and how she chose to trust a ball as a companion rather than scores of "caregivers" around her just breaks my heart.

I hope Americans learn to share the freedom they enjoy as citizens with their non-human animals. No creature should be in a zoo or circus or any other captive situation for human entertainment.

Bunny was loved at the Elephant Sanctuary and the Mesker Park Zoo. I am glad that Bunny lived nearly 10 years in a good home, where she became a member of the wonderful family. I am sad that so many elephants in America do not get to live in such a good home with freedom, love, and where both psychological and physical needs are met.

Bunny was a favorite of mine; she was so round, plump, pleasant, and affectionate. I will miss her.

It's sad she got just ten years at the sanctuary. She deserved more. Sweet Bunny ...god bless the sanctuary.

I loved watching videos and reading Bunny's progress at the Elephant Sanctuary. She was one of my favorites at the Sanctuary. This video made me cry.

To the Elephant Sanctuary: Thank you for taking care of and guiding such a wonderful elephant. May God be with you through all your struggles.

I am so glad you made a wonderful sanctuary for these wonderful animals. :) They look and sound soo happy! :) I'm sorry for the loss of Ned and Bunny. :( But, they got to live the remainder of their lives at this wonderful place! GOD BLESS THE ELEPHANT SANCTUARY IN TENNESSEE! :)

aww! I will miss bunny. I lived about 5 minutes away from her at Mesker Zoo in IN so it is said to see a childhood memory go away. We will miss you Bunny,

Bunny, you were always a favourite from day one and I will never forget you. May your eternity be warm, but not too warm, shady, but not too shady, and filled with delectable nutritious treats, spring-filled ponds, rainy days and sunny ones, star-filled nights, and Asian elephants you know and love. Give Jen, Tina, Lota, Delhi, & Barb trunk hugs. Queenie & Ned, too, though you did not meet them. Big hugs to the Sanctuary that looked after her so well, as is plain in this wonderful video.
