the atmosphere is much better in the theatre, and this song actually goes on for 10 mins in the show, they've just cut it down here, there's a huge dance scene in the middle, i saw this cast on wednesday and they blew me away, by far the best show in the west end atm, leanne jones, michael ball and ben ellis are amazing, this performance isn't a true reflection on how good the show is

I don't want to sound like a smart aleck but I have done the dance in my local communtiny theatre production of it. I played edna and had to wear high heels and it was not that hard. I had to wear a dress a lot like the one John Travota had to wear in the movie. It was not tight like this dress but with enough practice in heels it is easy. I am a little overweight too but I did not find it hard. I have to wonder why they change the dancing for Edna and Wilbur. Can they not do the kids dance

Well it is a kinda tight dress, and you gotta remember a lot of ednas have fat suites on and are a little bit overweight. They are also wearing high heels which is hard to do as a guy and that dance god your like dead at the end. But yea I think the dress is part of it
