The problem with Zerg is that right off the bat, an early roach and / or long rush is very, very hard to defend against as there are just so many units, so fast. However in the later, more macro heavy games, yes it's easy to throw away your army and just build it back up, but there's nothing super heavy as a Zerg, whereas Protoss has carriers and mother ships and archons, and terrains have there thorns and battleships. Not to mention how in HotS Zerg isn't even going to really be a viable race

It seems like a imba map because theres no ramp, but sen was sooo close on antiga. Funnily enough if Sen attacked the supply depot on the right instead of the one on the left the previous game, he wouldve won since the scvs wouldnt be able to get there in time. So early roach pushes in general are a good counter to this build

This map is so pro-Terran, its amazing. Only 1 siege tank near the gold expo and 'gg'. The Terran can do this zero-effort contain no matter the spawn position, though close position is even worse ofc.

I don't see how HOTS is gonna change this since the Terran push comes early. Only way to get rid of this joke is to kick this map.

I am sorry for SEN and even if the map favors Terran, This time MVP won not only for being great but also because SEN failed to overcome the siege. Many things may be imbalanced in SC2 WOL, but this game is not the one to judge them.

For all the ones that do not know what SEN could have done, he should have avoided losing countless roaches that got under siege fire. Try to hold as much as possible to get Mutas and with mutas roaches and lings break the siege.

this is why u don't fast expand vs terran. terran is OP whether u think it is or not doesn't matter to me. terran has 5 splash damage units and zergling level dps at a range from marines. eliminating lurkers flying queens with spawn broodlings and defilers ruined the game for zerg players.

Marines should have 2 points of damage less vs air units coz its just fucking gay when they hit mutas and marine tank on shattered temple is like almost unbeatable if they two helion instead of four helion siege timing push. Only way to beat is with shit ton of banes and lings both with speed upgrade

You don't need overwhelming force, Sen should have begun transitioning to Mutalisks and Banelings oh his two bases, first maneuvering the Mutalisks around the blockade and taking out the tanks on the high-ground while banelings simultaneously roll in to marines...failing that he could have sent some Mutalisks to start harassing MVPs economy.

1) the terran play style is the only kind we have ever really known, zerg and protoss are soooo unique, playing terran , you kinda come in with the skills to play them

2)terran expansions

3)most popular which means more strategies are made, and more people will know how to play em

4)mules and marines ;)

Sen had just as much of a chance as MVP. MVP just outplayed him. Sen went for economy instead of tech and he got punished for it.

Terran has Reactors, so in a case of Broodlords, Terran can build 2 Starports to pump out 4 vikings at a time. Toss has to build 4 Stargates(which are more expensive than Starports) to match Terran production capabilities in terms of solid anti-air.
