@cali4tune Obviously the quotes refer to the stereotypical AF: white dad, white mom, white kids, and a dog all in a suburban neighborhood. When you are not white or black, people ask you "Where are you from?" as if you are from a foreign nation, even if you were born in the US and can thus run for President. I used to be puzzled by this question: "Where are you from?" I used to answer my current town of residence. But that doesn't satisfy them. They want to hear the name of some exotic country.

@cali4tune It's true. America is probably one of the most diverse nations, but it's still pretty bad. Read my "pile of shit" analogy down below. If you're white, you don't know what it feels like to be hated or at the least treated differently because of your DNA. You analogize it to the differences among white people that keep them separated: taste in music, hair color, athletic ability, intellectual ability, etc. but it's not the same. You have no idea until you've walked in minorities' shoes.

@bestwin1 It's true. The US is probably the most diverse country on the planet, but it is still far from perfect. Is that a reason to give up and be complacent? No. Think of it this way. Think of the countries of the world as piles of shit. The US has cherries on top of it, but it is still a pile of shit. There is no reason not to strive to not be a pile of shit. Maybe it can become a puddle of piss one day. That is what we should all strive for. That's what life is all about: amelioration!
