I laughed my ass of through out that movie, especially with the bed shaking, they did such a terrible job with making that look real. This story deserves a good movie that follows the true story closely, because it's an interesting one. The Asylum makes some of the worst rip-off movies ever. Try to find the audio recordings of Annaliese Michel during one of her exorcisms. They are online and quite chilling. It's the closest thing to true possession I've come across, assuming the phenomenon exists.

Honestly, i believe in the Real Annaliese Michel story, but at the begining of this film its says "the material in this footage is real" so i assumed i'm gonna watch the real Annaliese & i thought this is gonna be very intresting. BUT as soon as the film started, i noticed that NOTHING WAS REAL IN IT, just actors, that none of them have the slightest resemblance of the real family & priests :( not only that, but they went so FAR out of the story, that the girl kills the 4 ppl '~' SERIOUSLY WTF?

she choked the doctor with her hand on his chest instead of his neck, the upside down crosses had those nail loops visible on top meaning they just nailed them upside down, the bedshaking sound doesn't match at all, the spiders coming out of her mouth looked so obvious computerised.. Then she becomes a serial killer? wtf? why mess up the real Annaliese story like that & say "its real footage"?? the only REAL thing of the real Annaliese was the few minutes audio tape cos i heard it all before.

This is wrong, it's actually "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" not "The Last Exorcism", so Amazon was wrong, and it's not the real tapes either, it's a mockumentry of the actual tapes.

So this "movie" is the mockumentry of the real audio/visual, which then inspired the movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". So, yea.

It's based on Anneliese Michel, a young girl who was supposedly possessed when in actuality she was very mental and physically ill. I'd tell you the end but I don't want to ruin it too much for you (however, I will tell you that there was a trial and prosecution). It's the most famous case of "demonic possession" in history.
