@jarhead1145 You take the ten years of employing hundreds if not thousands of MS/ME/PhD level workers, having large scale tests, and then actually have to build a few, take that number and divide by the 5,000 or so actually rolling off the factory line then yes. It costs that much.

An iPhone 4 of which only a few thousand sold would have a similar unit cost.
