this may be a stupid question, but where do you get custom tuning by troyer? i've heard alot of guys using them, and I would like to cuz I just did a camswap on my roushed f-150, and I know I can get more out of it with some custom tunes

I only had the Edge for a month. Since then Ive had custom tuning by Troyer Performance for the past 2 years. I also no longer have this flowmaster...I now have a 9" Borla muffler.

I accidentally cut off this grizzly lookin harley dude once in a red 08F150. And I was scared shitless.. This fool was CHASING me. I was weaving on the wrong side of the road and so was he.

But, the point is. He couldn't catch me and I was in my 3.4L toyota tacoma. Not saying that my taco has eve 1/4 of the payload one of these V8's do.. But it was funny because I think he was getting more pisesd that my shitty jap crap tin can was pullin length after length hahaha glad I didn't get beat up!

My truck aint built to race bro, its built to work and to last. The truck is really heavy, but still has loads of torque. Your truck will beat me off the line everytime, but 10 years from now my truck will still be there to line it up... There is a reason your company has you driving a Ford.

dfrank63....Are you serious? You are implying that the Chevy 5.3L has more torque than a Ford 5.4L? What the hell are you on man? Not only do the numbers show it. 365lb/ft 390 (E-85) vs 335 from the 5.3? But also look at the 0-30 times if you ever get to read a car mag. Ive seen an F-150 (Stock) do 0-30 mph in 2.6 seconds The best 5.3 ive seen was over 3 seconds. And considering that the Fords moving more weight....Yeah you get the point.

I will give the 5.3L the 0-60 advantage though. Givin they are moving a lighter truck. The fastest F-150 0-60 ive seen stock was 7.6 seconds. And the Fastest 5.3L stock was 7.4 seconds. But I bet you anything if you took a couple a hundred pounds off an equally equiped Ford it would walk the 5.3L Chevy all day long in 0-60 and 1/4mile times. Considering that Chevy's are normally about 200 to 300lbs lighter I think that would be a fair showdown.

The Edge will void warranty. Look into custom tuning by Troyer Performance or the Gryphon from PHP performance. They are custom tailored tunes for your specific truck, MUCH better than the Edge. I use Troyer's tunes now and will never go back.

i actually sold the evo, my truck's transmission didn't adapt well to it. i now have a custom tuned Xcal2 from Troyer Performance.

not much at all suprisingly. ive been in a truck that has the original 40 series and it drones bad, but these super44s dont drone much at all. it did a tiny bit at first but after 2k miles i can barely notice it on the highway.(you can hear it on acceleration but it sounds toned, not droning) and its louder then the 40 series outside, so its the best of both worlds. im completely satisified, couldnt be happier with it.
