Dontdodrugssmokeherb, no sadly they cannot live a healthy life with only roaches, if you get one go for the albino for sure, a good place to get them mainly if you get more than one herp is bigappleherp. com they sell albinos very cheap i believe 26 bucks, and then get yourself some others they sell sets of 3 green tree frogs as well make it worth the shipping charge, you'll save alot,

anyway a good idea for food is a live fuzzy mouse once a week and roches every other day, most people have their own feeding ideals but mine is very healthy never has gone to the vet, besides for check ups, you can also add a shrimp once a month or more if you feel like spoiling them, they love em. and theyre pretty cheap to breed yourself

you can usually tell a male apart from a female by looking at its chest. if it has dark spots on its chest than its most likely a male, if it has lighter spots or no spots at all then its porbably a female. another way is the size of the frog. females tend to be bigger in size than males

actually, it is much better to feed piranhas with these little pellets(although expensive) because the little feeder fish and other animals can have parasites and it will take months to kill all the parasites in the fish

I've held and petted a baby Pacman at a petshop, and it was a little jumpy, but it was not aggressive. The guy who worked there said if you give them enough attention they can be handled without any problem.

Fish are not a very good feeder for these frogs due to the parasite loads they can carry also for the thiamen. Eggs should not be fed to frogs. I do feed my frogs krill, and they all love it, as well as it being a slight color enhancer.

Lol, prawn and krill are some of the best food items for these frogs. Live or dead makes no difference, only the quality of the items do. Alot of live prey items also ccarry bacterias, parasites, etc. Frozen shrimps and krills are perfectly fine for them.

I have one of these frogs and a saltwater tank. I use dried krill for some of my saltwater fish and for the frog I reconstitute them in hot water, let it cool and then he eats it up. This type of krill is free of bacteria, if that is a concern. He also eats fish, baby mice, chicken, eggs and crickets... lol
