This best thing about this game is that exposes younger people to great music. It also encourages interest in playing an instrument. I speak through experience because since this game became popular, I've doubled my student roster for guitar instruction from 35 students to 70. And when they quit because its actually harder than playing the game, there are 2 more to take his place.

It's certainly not a side effect of hyperspeed, as I didn't have that on here. His animations are based on the song's tempo... there are times when the guitarist goes unusually fast, and others where he/she goes strangely slow.

I don't know about ALL of them... but it shouldn't be hard to believe. It's hard to deny that someone with many years of experience playing a stringed instrument would have an amount of left hand finger dexterity, 2 hand coordination, and a sense of rhythm, that would give them an advantage at Guitar Hero (or at least a head start) over people with no musical background.

If 2 notes are very close together, and you hit both, the flame animation for the first note will stop as soon as you hit the next note... that's why you're not seeing the flames on many notes, because it just barely starts to display it before the next flame comes up.
