Cracking movie!

All action movies are cliche of course - but you go into them knowing what you're hoping to get; solid no-holds-barred adrenaline pumping action.

Very rarely do action films actually deliver this - but this one does it in spades, and the acting and plot twists are really good as well.

Better still, the editing is good old-fashioned stuff that you know what's going on. None of that shaky-cam nonsense.

Easily better than any US action film since Die Hard.

I don't see why you guys compare this movie with Taken. Because both movie are in Paris ??? In Taken, the guys is a former spy who work alone, in this movie, he is a regular guy who team up with the guy he must liberate. He is also chased by the Police.

The ones that are say this movie is a lot better than Taken: 100% (22 for 22) for Point Blank; 40% (14 for 35) for Taken at Rotten Tomatoes - Top Critics. Thanks for your opinion. I'll take their collective expert one instead. (I still liked Taken, by the way.)
