Why does everyone compare Adam and Pink's version of this song! They both are the best in their own ways! Adam sang it originally and Pink covered it, so TECHNICALLY he 'ownes' it but IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYWAYS!!! The point is, the song is epic, both versions are epic, and although everyone is entitled to their own opinion ya don't have to go on about 'Pink is soo much better, Adam shouldn't be given the credit, blah' because you're wasting your time.

On November 18, 2009, Lambert announced via his official website that his second single from his debut album would be "Whataya Want from Me". The song was the second single announced before the CD was officially available to the public.

In 2010, Pink's recording appeared on her first greatest hits compilation, Greatest Hits... So Far!!!.
