  • Still one of my all-time favourite LPs from a favourite band. I do disagree, however, with the ``swamp rock'' description at the top. The Scientists were swamp rock...but the Beasts, particularly on The Low Road, were just inspired and dirty Oz rock at its best.

  • This album is a classic, I remember being 20 had this on casssette and played it so much !, I remember when I was cleaning my car {inside} with the vaccum cleaner and the tape got sucked off the spool ! I was devastated This piece of recorded music will always stand the test of time, it has classic blues type over tones / undertones mixed with raw edgey melancolic moods.

Great time in original Australian music which set the seed in many people to go on and form great bands.

  • Reminds me of an ad I heard on Triple Jay all those years ago (for some program involving the Beasts) which went along the lines of "Remember the last time you saw the Beasts of Bourbon? Of course you don't! You were pissed out of your mind!"

And now here we are, nearing the end of 2010, and this song still makes the milk curdle in the jug. So damn good.

  • Oh... my heart just dropped...

    This is great...

  • The lyrics are amazing. Love it! Great album too.

  • such a great song. Great band too, of course!

  • I can`t say no to this song.
