What's up with some of these rude comments? You did something they are uncomfortable doing, so they say "you got what you deserved!" One person says "I hope you learned your lesson" Are these people insane!? You lost your ARM! Have these people NEVER done anything even mildly dangerous. What if one of these narcissists went to a pool and decided to jump off the diving board, but they slipped, and broke their neck. How would they feel if you said too them "you're an idiot for trying that!?"

Hey man, I'm sorry for your accident, but i gotta say that the guys that were in the ground after you hit the truck fuk it up pretty good in aiding you. You were clearly confused and with an arm that was obviously broken and with a possible concussion. It doesn't matter what were your saying, they should had called 911 right away and they shouldn't had helped you sit up or anything.

this kind of video ain't scary at all, instead, it brings up my motivation to not to do it. it feels good to see people mistakes so you wont have to do it again.

there are certain rules you must obey as a pilot.

- take off is optional but landing is a mandatory

- learn from mistakes of the others, coz you won't live long enough to make all of the yourself

I am sorry for your accident however the wind gusts are not happening at the time of the landing as evidenced by the wind sock. More like 5-10 mph however you did approach the landing heading downwind. Combine that mistake with the forward speed of your wing which is increased by your carving 45 degree hook and you are probably moving 40+ mph.

Source: 4,500 skydives, 600 base jumps, and having made similar mistakes as you.
