are u all crazy???Do u like a life with tons of fucking orcs that every single day try to kill u??...Where thousands of people die for a ring??...Where u can be as high as the desk in my room?? u need a doctor...
is this really from the soundtrack? about 8 measures in it is half a step too low, i have an arrangement for trumpet right in front of me and it doesnt match the notes
@shrazahninja6 Well, you're arrangement for the trumpet is bound to be an adaptation. This is not a song for trumpet, it's a song for strings and voice. So what's REALLY wrong, is that your arrangement is too high.
This is truly brilliant music... it evokes the sense of the place and the experience of the characters so much that we feel like we know Middle Earth, its people, and that we belong there. It makes us yearn for it. I even feel I could could cry through the nostalgia I feel.
When the cold of winter comes Starless night will cover day In the veiling of the sun We will walk in bitter rain But in dreams I can hear your name And in dreams We will meet again When the seas and mountains fall And we come, to end of days In the dark I hear a call Calling me there, I will go there And back again
@MsCate21 I'm thinking the same thing like you about this masterpiece !! The Lord Of The Rings is into us forever and it's not over with bilbo ! ^^ Lotr's fan raise your hands !
this is probably the only music i know of that really speaks of an epic adventure. and when i finnished watching the lasst movie it made me cry... and im a pretty tough kid too, but this... this... it made me feel like an old friend was saying goodbye..
but my good friend frodo will come back again one day... and he shall tell me his tale again...
This is a very good exsample why Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and so on are so timeless. They are about so much more then just magic and fantasy, they are about hope and doing the right thing in difficult situations, about innosence and everything that is beautiful on this earth.
I remember when I was just a kid, we were watching tv with my big brother, and my mom and dad came back from the store and gave Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers to my brother. My eye's just opened and I holded my breath. I've loved lotr since the first movie came out...... And I'm still a huge fan. Lotr will always have a place in my heart. I'm going to show all of them to my childrens and if I'm ever going to be grampa, I'm going to tell about Lord of the rings to my children's children
Watching Lord Of The Rings for me, and being from Iceland, was like expiriencing all the folklore stories and sagas I read as a child, more realisticly. Long live Miðgarður (middle-earth)!
if i could, i would gladly and with pride stand along with the heroes of middle earth and leave my carcus on the field for a greater good. only wish that our own world had some heroes like them.
When the cold of winter comes Starless night will cover day In the veiling of the sun We will walk in bitter rain But in dreams I can hear your name And in dreams We will meet again When the seas and mountains fall And we come, to end of days In the dark I hear a call Calling me there, I will go there And back again
*Tears* It's so beautiful! Now I know what it's like to live in Middle-Earth... now I have beheld the elegance of the Elves, the grandeur of the dwarven halls, the simple beauty of the hobbits, the will of men. I have beheld the world of J.R.R. Tolkien and this is its theme. *Tears*
@ScottishgirlAnnlorie I really wish Tolkien was still alive to continue forming the unmade of Middle Earth, but then you never know... With this society, he will fricken make a whole book about how Frodo gets a new phone but gets grounded and it taken away and the magic expedition to his parents bedroom to steal it and go sleep with 20 girls...
@ZombywoofWazoodian Not to try and start on argument here, but I think it fits. After all, Tolkien was a christian and if you look at the origins of Middle Earth it is very similar to the book of Genesis.
While Tolkien does state that the Lord of the Rings was not an allegory in any way, shape, or form, it also holds some similarities to christianity.
am I the only one who is in love with Legolas, Aragorn, Boromir AND Eomer... ALL AT ONCE!?!? cause DAMN THEY ARE SEXY!!!

THIS SONG IS A PROPHECY!
At the end of the LOTR movies, there was a void. We were stuck with "epics" that could not match the awesomeness of LOTR.
(Cold of Winter comes, Veiling of the Sun. We walked, in Bitter Rain)
But we dreamed of Tolkien's "The Hobbit" and the movies return.
(But in dreams, I hear your name. We'll meet again)
After all those years! We were really stuck with the lowest of the low!
(The Seas and Mountains fall)
PJ has come for us with The Hobbit!
(There and Back Again)

There should be an online dictionary where words are described through music. This would fall under 'biblical'.

@lordjamito007 I think that 'mystical' would be a better term, given the discriminatory and dogmatic nature of the Holy Bible.
