@sarahnicole32 that would be cool, although he graduated in '09 ...and the last of the starkids graduated last year... These ladies would have had to be freshman when he was a senior.

Darren would've been a freshman in 2006 and I assume this dance is a senior class presentation (and the girls therefore graduated in '06). If these girls are in fact in a younger year, then there would've been a longer period of overlap when they both attended the university.

But either way, the StarKids have said that the faculty of Music Theatre and Dance at U of M is a small one, so there's a chance, however small :)

this choreography was right on. it was sexy but angry, a bit confused, mysterious, shy (at parts) which is EXACTLY what the song conveys. sure it amped up the sexuality a bit more but thats because it wasnt being sung by the performers it was being acted out through movement, and when you're speaking with your body you have to be a bit "louder"  :)

the choreography for this dance is terrible. at the beginning there was no sharpness to the moves, it was mushy and lacked substance

the reprise section was like a dance team routine, no emotion and way too much hair flipping. it lacked the clear message of the song, which is not about vagina thrusting and body rubbing but confusion and developing of oneself

I'm pretty sure the reprise is how it was for most of the Broadway run and is for the tour, with the three drum beats.

I'm nearly 100% positive that this is a recording of the off-Broadway version. For one thing, the last note of "Bethlehem" in the reprise is different from the Broadway version.  Also, the video description says it was from Fall 2006, which was before SA opened on Broadway.

Otherwise, it should be exactly the same as the current version, I think.

The first part wasn't all that good and looked amateur-ish.

The reprise was much better, but not everyone was synchronized on the parts that were meant to be all together. It looked more like you were all doing solo dances, rather than a group dance.
