very dark indeed.... but very abstract and requires profound knowledge of tarots and symbols to deal with this deck...i always love my Zen tarot deck....

i lovee this deck. But i dont find it "dark" at all really. I find it to have a quite amusing and playful "personality" if ya know what i mean. :/

I have been reading and collecting tarots for many yrs, and can easily say that Valenza created somthing truly astounding. I love decks that are "dark" The other 2 faves are the Vertigo Tarot and the Barbara Walker tarot.They really pull you in and get the third eye moving! This Deviant Moon is a new classsic! Bravo Patrick! I hope you make a bigger book to go with it. Highly Recommended!

I agree. When I got this deck my friend said it was creepy but I didn't get that vibe from it at all. It just had a personality that was kind of unique.

@princessbabe1313 I just got it, and while it I DO find it sort of dark, It's very whimsical and as you said, sort of playful. It isn't creeping me out as much as I thought it would...yet! My next purchase will be the Rabbit Tarot. Now THAT'S creepy!
