  • your cage looks really big and i like your fleece.

  • HI DO U THINK I COULD PUT A FLEECE LINER THING IN MY OUTSIDE GUINEAAA CAGE LIKE DOUBLE STORY ??? LIKE MAKE IT DIFFERENT FOR CORNERS ??

  • Where did you get your cubes from?

  • wats fleece?? please respond soon

  • @thtsabadkitteh its like a blanket

  • Finally someone with a quality cleaning video!

  • i just have to say if u hadnt made this video in the way u did i wouldnt be able to clean my pigs cage so thank you

  • thanks a lot! it helped:) for now ill not risk it, maybe later on ill try to have an open cage!:D

  • @petlover324 well my cat had lived with my dog, my bird, my fishes.. although he didnt try to kill them exept the fish.. he got used to them but starred them down sometimes, also my cat doesnt have nails either.. how did you trust your cat& adapt to your piggies un covered?:)

  • @beautylovers09 Oh I see. Well, when I first introduced them to my cat, he stared them down and hopped into their cage a few times that week. I just made sure I watched him. When he did jump into the cage, I left him once to see his reaction. He just lied down. All he really wanted to do was watch the pigs. From then on, I kept an eye on him but had his trust after a while. :D If your cat swats your pig or attempts to bite, that's not a good sign.

  • great video, but i was just wondering.. im getting a c and c cage and i also have a cat and i dont want any risk for my guinea pigs so ill be putting a cover, your cat doesnt go after them?

  • @beautylovers09 My cat had no claws and had no intentions of harming my pigs. He would sometimes try and swat at them. DO NOT trust your cat with your pigs though. A cover is smart. :) My cat lived with other animals all his life so he never harmed them but cats can sometimes be naturally drawn to small "prey" like guinea pigs.

  • I would never wash pet stuff in my washing machine, that's disturbing - azll the hair will get caught in the machine, not to mention dirt and faeces you don't see.

    Especially if you're washing face/bath/tea towels - That's unhygenic.

But otherwise I love the vid and your Piggy! :) Very cute :)

  • @ILUVlupin I've had my pigs for soon to be 2 years and the fur doesn't get caught. Also it's not unhygenic because I turn on the washer again though a cycle without the fleece after I wash the fleece so it'll be clean. Thanks. :)

  • @ILUVlupin your daft y use a washing machine to clean it remove dirt not leaves it in the washing machine.if y clean it after it ok.,if y feel like that why y got guinea pigs i dont no.y can get human hair stuck in a washing machine.not guinea pigs there hair is short.and it dont fall out to cause a problem.and the poo is clean its just hay and vegies. tell her that.

  • I want to get a guinea pig but my mom says no their to stinky and they think I can't take care of my animals that i have now ( i take care of them good my turtle has been living for over 2 years) what should i do?

  • @TheBlueRose360 Trust me. Guinea pigs do NOT smell AT ALL as long as you clean their cage regularly! Just explain it to her. To convince her for the turtle incident, just take REALLY good care of your turtle even if you've already been doing so. Show her how much you love your turtle and take great care of it and how much you want a guinae pig. Just don't whine about it since parents hate that. Good luck!

  • omg that is soo cool! I want to make a cage like that. but i have a hamster. will that still be ok to make? Also, he is very climby! So it would be easy for him to escape is there a way to make a top?

  • @xxmidorifarmerxx They can escape from them, so get SMALL grids, and put a top on by attaching a grid on the top.

  • thanks so much!!!:)

  • My mom is really supersticus to wash the pee and pooopy fleece in the same machine we use for our clothes what should i do?

  • @addyidog1 Well that's what I do. Just once I wash the fleece and towels, I will turn on the washer for one small cycle to wash it out before I was a load of clothes. Plus, there won't be any poop if you shake the fleece outside.

  • @GuineaPiggs1 Yeah, use laundr detergent...just do NOT use fabric softner or it will take away the fleece's wisking ability. I put it on cold...but I guess it doesn't matter that much! :D

  • I have a dog.... how will i keep her from getting in the cage? She can jump over the only gate we have, and we don't have enough grids to make a gate. I want to put it on the floor so that it can be bigger (we don't have anything very big to put the cage on!)

  • @321guineapigz Oh gosh....I wouldn't take chances...your dog could easily kill your pig...If you have a door, you could close it....Depends on where the cage is located at...

  • hey! I have that same little house for my guinea pig

  • does your cat jump inside the cage?

  • @zombieminxz Oh yes! But he'd learned how not to and he eventually stopped. It wasn't a problem because he would never hurt the guinea pigs and he was declawed.

  • @petlover324 neat! My cat is crazy and paws at them through the cage.....but im going to see

  • @zombieminxz Be VERY careful with your cat! Like98% of cats will try and hurt your piggy. Even my cat whose chill with my guinea pigs tried to eat my hamster! :o Cats act differently around different animals...

  • This was a very help full video!! I cant thank you enough because this video helped me a lot! :}

  • @rps9497 Yay! I hope you get your C&C cage! Thanks! :D

  • when evr i give my piggie a pellow he pees on it like its a litterbox or sumthing......

  • This was really helpful! I'm building a c&c cage tomorrow! 7 fish tanks including a 120 gallon makes it impossible to have a cage as big as yours but it's definitely a step up from what I have now!!!

  • @lTheHamsterHelpers It's called coroplast and you can get it from your local sign shop. :) Check out guineapigcages . com for more details. :)

  • thx this helped my daughter and i clean it xx

  • I would like to put my pigs in a cage like that but i dont like the pee spots... i put them in a regulair cage

  • @iriisje Pee spots? What do you mean? Also, a pet store cage is WAY too small for any guinea pigs, let alone more than 1 guinea pigs. :/

  • Where do you get ur fleece?

  • Great vid! Very useful! Thank you (:

  • Very happy guniea pig xD very cute too have you only got one?

  • @MegaBrooke112 No, I have 2 pigs now. :) Also, their C&C cage is currently a 2x5! :D

  • you take really good care of your guinea pig i can tell you really lover your guinea pig. Thanks for the help!!

  • How do you keep your pigs from under the fleece? I tried EVERYTHING, and they still burrow under there and poop all over the choropast(?).... It makes cleaning a very scary situation.

  • @Basketballchick Oh wow. My pigs only dig under the fleece rarely...So I don't have that problem. Have you tried clipping the fleece? Use binder clips! If you've already tried that...than just try putting bricks in the corners. Hope that helps.

  • @petlover324

Thank you so much... I'll do that next weekly cleanup. I had tried cutting the fleece to fit perfectly, I had tried blocking the edge with their hidies, everything... x.x I'll try binder clips :) Hopefully they'll behave better in their new apartment.

  • @Basketballchick Binder clips should work. :D Good luck!

  • you have a guinea pig, a cat and a dog XD. Don't the cat and dog bother the guinea pig somtimes?

  • @LittleMew133 Nope. My pets just love to sniff the guinea pigs and my dogs LOVE to lick my pigs!

  • how many grids did you use :)

  • @fhallon13 12 grids. :)

  • @mxbarb7 Lol!!!! Friends! :D Oh yes, I think Racer may have a little crush on Kiwi too! Racer + Kiwi= <3 Haha.

  • do you live near a lake?

  • @madipoo1998 Yeah, I have a big lake in my backyard as you can see in the video. :D

  • Where did you get the little sign with Racer on?

  • @BlushedCheeks07 I made it.

  • Cute, Thanks for sharing!!

  • thanks for the vid! seems easy, ur piggy is adorable!!!!

  • @guineapiglover1405 Lol! I know! That's why I showed it. Hahaha, Thanks!

  • wow nice cage for your guinea pigs :3 lol plus u save money on using the reuseable fleece than buying bedding everytime :3

  • @smexyOrangez Thanks! You would not BELIEVE how much money I save using fleece! The best part is it looks awesome!

  • @petlover324 i can imagine lol but i wonder does it smell or anything cause i was thinking of switch since my mom doesn't have the money to keep buying the bedding :3 thanks! is there anything i need to note when using the fleece? :3

  • @smexyOrangez Does it smell? Honestly, it CAN get kinda smelly. My pigs don't smell because I clean the fleece twice a week and I have like a thing that makes my room smell good. If you clean it twice a week at least, you can't smell it.

Anything to note when using it is do NOT use fabric softener when washing it, fleece is measured in yards, and it's about $5-10 per yard where I get mine from a craft store called Joannes. Hmm...Oh and don't forget your towels under it. Any more quetions, ask!

  • where did you get our fleece?

  • @RabbitTips101 A craft store called Joanne's.

  • i love ur piggy! he is sooo cute! I think you should get him a friend though.

  • @horses4life2112 My piggy has a friend now...His name is Bear :D

  • @petlover324 Thats good he must be so much happier :D

  • @horses4life2112 Oh, he is!

  • That's an awesome cage for one guinea pig! Your guinea pig is sooooooo lucky, I have one guinea pig too and I built her a 3x2 cage, she LOVVVVVVVVVVVVESSSSSSS IT!

  • i love how it just went in the tunnel

  • what breed of guinea pig is racer? he is extremelyy cute! how old is he? he is a ver well taken care of guinea pig. i have a mini rex that has a c+c cage too...

  • @RabbitTips101 I don't know what breed Racer is..Thanks! He is pretty adorable :) He's about a year old. And yeah. Cool!

  • Doesn't your piggy burrow under the fleece?

  • @HollyForeverable Nope! Some do. If they do, you can just use binder clips to clip up the fleece.

  • Omg I love your fleece.I get mine from Joanns too!Plus you look like me from behind!

  • i have that exact same food bowl!!! lol cute piggy do ya mind tellin me where you got ur fleece???plz

  • @oGxgamergirl Yeah I love it! I get my fleece from Joanns. It's like a fabric place :)

  • that HUGE cage for just one piggy?! wow clearly spoiled! :)

  • Where did you get your chloroplast?

  • @InsightCreationz a small sign shop down the stree from me. The coroplast was only $11! If you're looking for coroplast, a small sign shop near you is a great place to find cheap coroplast :D

  • racer is soooo cute!

  • @MoandSnoopy242 Haha yeah thanks! Your piggies are ADORABLE too!
