I was hoping for more footage of the recording process, more like Springsteen's Seeger sessions, but the dvd is fairly short and only has footage from the New Orleans session for "This City." The rest is Steve talking (recorded in New Orleans, based on what he was wearing) interspersed with photos. He does do a couple songs solo. I am not unhappy I bought the deluxe, but was hoping for more,

Steve Earl reminds me of all those good Americans we saw on the TV when I was growing up. The kind that were righting wrongs and on the side of the underdog. Its astonishing to me how someone as articulate and wise is being ignored by so many. Best of luck with the book and the recording... you and your type needs to be heard...
