I am reading a lot of comments about Nokie, King of guitar, Don wilson and Bob Bogle RIP... I agree and saw them with Bob spaulding in concert in Feb 2011 and Don Wilson made a comment I whole-heartedly agree with. "Leon Taylor is the best drummer in the world!" Awesome to see your caravan drum solo live! Thanks to Leon, since the passing of his father, the Ventures haven't missed a beat. (pun intended) Keep Banging Leon
I'm 65, and the ventures are Gods for me..!!! been listening to them all thro' my younger days..!! they sound better and better each time I listen to them...!! wow..!!
This is the first time I've heard this band, and I'm more than anything, a heavy metalhead / grunger. Always have been, but I very much like what I've heard here, and especially can see and hear their talent as musicians.
I'm 63 years and still an ardent fan of the great Ventures. I hope they can perform in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Rest assure that there are thousands fans here.
