@qweaz987 You might see if there is a soap supply store in your area or most Craft stores - like Michaels - have the basic supplies you need for making soap.
Are you using Melt & Pour soap? Because not all Glycerin soap is made to melt down smoothly and reform nicely.
Melt and Pour soap shouldn't definitely not act like what you describe. If you are using M&P I would contact the vendor you purchased it from and see if they have specific instructions for using it.
When I placed the glycerin soap chunks in the glass to be heated in the microwave for 30 seconds it began to get fluffy instead of turning into liquid....but I tried boiling it in a pot with a pot underneath and it started getting stuck to the pot...lol! I don't know what I'm doing wrong,...I'm following all of the instructions..Should I add something with the soap in the microwave?
So you aren't talking about discoloration due to Vanilla right? Just yellowish because of the color of the fragrance oil?
You can use less fragrance - but I love heavily scented soaps. So instead I just plan my colors to work well with yellow - like reds or greens. If I want a purple soap I just find a fragrance that's clear.
I'm glad that you're finding these videos fun and helpful. If you have suggestions for what you'd like to see, just let me know. We're planning Season Two right now.
will this be good for a school fundraser ?

@vascheergirl18 That's a great idea! Making loaf soaps to sell are really efficient because it's like making 12 bars of soap all at once.

What is that little jingle you use throughout your videos?

I'm loving all of these techniques! Is there a way to combat fragrances that tend towards a yellow hue?
