@KingWing777 He's right, you can't travel at speed of light no matter what, there's a law in physics that an object simply can't move at the speed of light, however you can move very close to the speed of light.
1- Intergalactic travel is impossible, as it will take too much abuse and time to gain such speeds, let alone have the right propellant. Can you say "100 Gs for 30 years"? Goood
2- M31 can rarely be seen with the naked eye, some light isolating and telescopic assistance is required most of the time. To see it with the naked eye... You must live in a very clean and unlit place...
3- watch?v=LVLRDBFyrTk , then ask yourself "Are we the only ones there?" and laugh at yourself for doubting.
@Rfsancho Bob Lazar explains how gravity field propulsion works in existing disk technology. Inside the field distortion you are immune from the effects of G-force. That takes care of speeds up to the speed of light. Beyond the speed of light, you need to decrease the distance between two points by warping space. The Grays and many others have already done it. It's not impossible.
If you look near the constellation Andromeda, the princess, you can see a "circular haze" in the sky. its the Andromeda Galaxy! That galaxy is the farthest thing you can see only with your eye!
everyone on board. flight no.111 to andromeda will depart within 5 minutes. flight time 10h. :) hope that'll happen this century.speed of light sucks we must break that
we are a small planet of an insignificant star of an insignificant galaxy. There could be millions of intelligent civilizations out there like ours but none of them will be able to interract because space travel is impossible.

Why is space travel impossible? You mean interstellar? Even that's not impossible according to our modern understanding of physics. Wormholes, sir.
Also, don't discount that aliens have already visited Earth...and that they may be here even now. UFOs are a very real phenomenon, one in on which a general consensus over their origin has not yet been decisively reached.
ufos exist if buy anything then by the pure defination of the abreviation: Unidentified Flying Object. if an object is flying in the air and is unidentified or not recognised then it's a UFO. UFO doesn't have to stand for spacecraft or aliens.
@canuckman87 Not only is interstellar space travel impossible but any other form of life that is out there will not have a spinal cord or skeletal structure similar to ours...., impossible! And because we'll never make contact with other so called civilizations our star is very significant. It's the only star we know of that has a life supporting planet orbiting it. We my friend, are unique, until proven otherwise.
@libraryquiet Never say impossible. It is possible they could have a similar structure, like humanoid structures, or bipedal structures. Hotter planets would make use of bipedal structures as it allows creatures to not overheat. Four legged animals would probably be common as well, tail or not. Four legs offer stability without wasted energy with a third pair. So, if they do evolve to bipeds, they will most likely be humanoid in form. Mammals, that is.
i'm not sure if this has already been stated but it would be impossible for a man made probe to reach M31 (Andromeda galaxy) since it would not have enough velocity to break away from the pull of our own galaxy.
its so deep because andromeda and the milky way are like fraternal twins hus to say there isn't an earth like mass in there orbiting some star with some other species or people roaming around asking the same questions we ask is there life beyond us i beleive theres a strong possiblity theres life in our own galaxy let alone other glaxies its proven there are over 80 billion glaxies in the observable universe so in essence thers more stars than grains of sand on earths beaches
if it would be possible to move near or with lightspeed you still need about 2 million years to travel there (its about 2.2 mio. lightyears). there must be another way.. send me a postcard when you found it (maybe you can use gravitational waves to send me a postcard?;)
time and space are changing if an object is moving. so if you are moving that fast (lightspeed for example) you are time traveling withoth even knowing it. it would be like a journey with no return :)
use science but only facts not theories some man called professor X, a bonana tree grow delicious bonanas is this accident or made by a intellengent being, if you know what I mean. the universe is not coninsedence, the unverse has Lord called Allah who made it from gas and smoke as mentioned in the Quran.

@messierthirtyone, Warp drive or speed is the answer. In theory it can be done, but the problem is harnessing the power of stars to warp space time.
creamone 1 year ago
hahahaha. not this century for sure, even with warpdrives it would took aloooot of time hehe
