  • wait, if you have DSOTM on vinyl and your doing this, how would you know when to start playing the second side?

  • you can sync this up to porn too

  • MY GUESS:

If you run ANY ALBUM along witn ANY MOVIE then there will be some subtle (and surprising) "syncs" through the hole shit... Coincidences, just that,!

But when it comes about Pink Floyd's mistique, anythings looks greater huh?

  • i did this 15 years ago and it is still very cool

  • No point in replying to johnkissin a year later but the synchronicities are not all that obvious and because they are subtle that's what makes it so great. The first play through definitely matches up

  • This guitar solo does not deserve to be wasted upon dancing midgets!!!

  • All these years I've heard people speak of the sync with the movie. Finally get around to see it and it's total garbage bag full of stinking muck, with extra trash juice dripping out. Scam, wish I wouldn't have watched it.

  • Just look at the cover art of the album. I don't think I need to point out the connection.

  • I'm making a playlist of songs to get high to

this video is deffinately going on :3

  • im soo baked haha love it :D

  • You have to watch the whole movie with the whole album to see it

  • I don't get it. What is exactly supposed to be synchronized? The lyrics with the actors' mouths? Or the music with the storyline? Cuz I don't see neither

  • i had the same problem... its basically all of wat u listed at certain parts. when that lady is on the bike the music is a bike sound etc... get it? i can explain more if needed

  • @markuswv

it's ok, thanks. I still don't see it. And i think it's pretty preposterous to think that Pink Floyd would model an album after this movie, especially when the music has nothing to do with this story. I mean, Money, Time? Breath is closer to being related to Alice in Wonderland than WoZ.

But conspiracy theorists will not be stopped by logic

  • @johnkissin You may want to find out what "the story" is really about before you make too much fool of yourself.

  • i wonder how the movie would have been if she had gone down the red brick road. as you can see there are two roads that spiral together

  • gotta say so far i'm not seein it

  • What a load of fanciful bollocks, basically. I wish everyone would stop being such an tunnel-visioned fanboy pretending to see any kind of synchronicity whatsoever.

  • lol slow down sid vicious!

  • I did notice a few shots matching with the music, but the most noticeable thing was everyone marching to the beat.

  • impressive indeed!

  • lol my cairn terrier looks like toto

  • plus if you have the album dark side of the moon and wizard of oz you play the album as soon as the lion in the begining roars for the third time. It should start with time ans so on. its realy scary but also sweet.

  • im related to Parnell St. Aubin, he's one of the main muchkin soldiers, ether the one that helps dorthy in the carrage or the lead one in the red. pretty cool!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm going to see Dark Side of Oz in a movie theatre next month. It's going to be awesome.

  • don't give that do goody good bullshit

  • wow to whoever is under me!

  • yeah.. I dont see it....

  • @Fevrure, You're just stupid then :D

  • ehhh when it comes to this crap yeah..

  • My 11th grade Chemistry teacher took a class to do this after someone told him about it. My mind was blown for 45 mins.

  • Watch dark side of nemo preview in responses ... if you like the dark side of the rainbow and Alice on the wall or you just think dark side was made for oz then you will have to agree the same with nemo cause it has way way way more "coincidences as they are called or are they?"

  • Downloading Dark Side of the Rainbow right now, didnt know about the Alice on the Wall one

  • Dark side of the Rainbow & Alice on the wall are wonderful & well, I thought to my self those syncs are great and i thought about the movies in general. Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland merged as 1 movie would make none other then the movie Little Nemo so I decided to give it a go with syncing for my self on my pc so I watched and well it was so good , I had to upload it.Check the sync I speak of give it a look.

Search dark side of nemo or click my name for preview thanks

  • after the third MGM lion roar you start the album. It works every time. Stoned or not.

  • Isn't Dark side of the rainbow and Alice on the wall great but to me they got old i have seen so many times and have ran out of trippy things to see and notice ,,,, if you like these as much as i do then you will love dark side of nemo is a video i synced with floyds full dark side of the moon cd to the movie little nemo if you want search for dark side of nemo. TRUST ME it will not be a waste of your time its legit and perfect just wonderful you can find on veoh.

  • Floyd and W of Oz fan, I've been waiting years to see this. Was expecting something, but found not a singular moment of syncronicity, not even a metaphor to match the music. (Shoot me a message if you have inside info. Thanks!)

  • Glenda likes her magic wand extra long!!

  • how the hell does this go together at all the onlybreason y it seems that way to u is becuz ur floyed fan so u r most likely a stoner

  • @oxhpagor

your grammer makes you sound more like a stoner than any pink floyd fan.

  • @KryptonianBaby

    Grammar*

  • LOL it is Grammar...

  • @SarahLouiseKathryn

Small typo. At least I'm not writing illegible nonsense. Some people write the most remarkably nonsensical statements and claim it's because it's "the internet." Why write anything at all if you don't want others to be able to read it.

  • I agree, but Im just saying if youre going to bash someone on their grammar, make sure to spell check prior to posting.

  • @oxhpagor your retarded also whats wrong with being a "stoner" i hate smoking a flower that makes me happy

  • you have this at the wrong timing. ive seen it before and the entire album makes sense with the movie...stoned or not. you'll know when you have it right. You're supposed to start the music sometime in the credits.

  • im sure loads of songs make sense with this film when you're stoned, some person just used pink floyd as the first example.

  • Now I know why you've got to be high to think it syncs up...because it's not really working out for me sober.

  • saw it yesterday... I enjoyed it... mostly because I was Pretty High...

  • No they do go together this one is way off but they do in an abnormaly fracky way....

  • I've heard so many times that DSOTM and Wizard of Oz go together. First time I've watched the two together.........what a load of bullshit

  • watch "great gig in the sky" this one isn't really the best example. it's just a little bit spooky...probably more effective when you're high.

  • thats actually crap its all i can say man.. just .. just give up

  • I've always wondered where the red brick road goes.

  • @podcastbard hey me too lol im drinking watching this video like hey where does that road go

  • @ podcastbard

my guess would be the vinkus, since there's no yellow brick road there ^_^

  • Haha waswonder the same

  • i love how the munchkins all start dancing once the solo breaks out at 4:42...yet i still do think this is all one of those weird coincidences

  • this is pretty gay, it hardly goes with it at all, and im high

  • smoke some more or maybe less

  • I'm really stoned and I don't see it.

  • me to nigga

  • tourettes guy

  • hahaha just watchin that like 2 minutes ago

  • Floyd goes with all video--Espicially when doseing

  • this is how i reckon it could have happened someone had the tv on and the wizard of oz was on but with no sound because the person was listning to the dark side of the moon. later realising they go together (they were probobly high though)

  • I know its probably been posted 100 times already but if you press play on your Pink Floyd album (Darkside of the moon) at the 3rd roar of the lion at the very beginning of the movie it matches up really well through all the songs. I used to do it all the time when I was young burnout. Great post man and thanks for the memories.

  • Also the timing on this video is a little off. If it's done right the first "Ching" of the cash register happens when it changes scenes to her opening the door to Oz.

  • Supposedly the Wizard of OZ was an inspiring factor in the creation of the album "Dark Side of the Moon" the entire album can be played with the movie as long as it's on repeat and is timed right.. (You start the Album on the 3rd roar of the opening lion roars)

  • I've read a lot of books on pink floyd and the min songwriter roger waters states many times that the movie had no persuasion in the making of the album, it was entirely coincedince, the album was created to talk about things that make people go insaine

  • at around 6:00 the ones marching sync up with the drums (watch their left legs)

  • hahahahahahaha!! The silly munchkins, And this song, Go great together :p ... Whats next?? The Oompa Loompas From Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory??

    looooooooooool

  • wonder how someone noticed this correspondence in the first place, lol.

  • @sushigirl70 someone was REALLY fucking high and they wanted some entertainment lmao

  • omg this song ruined this movie/song for me....now all i can think about when "money " comes on the radio is munchkins dancing

  • this is such a good scene!

  • Alice in Wonderland with The Wall is better.

  • i bet a pantera would sync up just as good as pink floyd

  • at 4:42 it's like the munchkins start dancing as the music picks up

  • Try watching Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow and playing Stairway To Heaven

  • this isn't any more synced than watching ghostbusters while playing master of puppets, drugs to crazy shit to some people, that's all.

  • what?

  • oops, meant drugs DO crazy shit to some people.

  • the only thing that suites the music is her walking out to a wonderland while the bass line kicks in

  • @CanadianChronic2121

"share it, fare it" matches the munchkin handing her a bouquet of flowers, "dont give me that do goody-good bullshit" matches the appearance of the good witch, "high 5 traveling set" matches the bubble that Glenda floats in.

you must think about the entire album & the other coincidences and the aligning to phrases being sung and actions in the movies, not just the tempo of the music.

  • well you must have alot of spare time on your hands to have synced every single pink floyd song to every single scene from wizard of oz... lol

  • @CanadianChronic2121

wow you are stupid. you play the album and it syncs up. that's it... idiot.

  • yes i know that.

but the songs you listed aren't on Dark Side Of The Moon.

    "idiot"

  • @CanadianChronic2121

those aren't SONGS NAMES, they are lines within "Money"

    HAHAHAHAAHAH

    IDIOT!!!!!!!

  • well i'm sorry i don't know every single lyric to the pink floyd discography you fucking dumb muslim.. lol

  • brilliant comeback.

  • lol, you probably have more hair on your back than i do you stinky fucking muslim

  • @CanadianChronic2121

everyone this guy is ^ scott

    you're a dick scott!

  • my name is Scott?

    okay.. lol

  • haha nah... since you're probably as stoned as i am i'll explain it.

there's an episode of southpark and they crash a plane in canada, everyone is friendly except for scott. he's a dick.

  • @ibeleaf LMAO i didnt think of that i just thought he was being an ass and yeah im buzzed oh a apple pipe

  • OMG this is so weird with the munchkins! And Im not even high! I would prolly be freakin out totally if I was stoned.

  • I bought the album and I heard about the hoax about 'em. It is really weird shit. But cool to see someone use some good ol' prog like Pink Floyd.

  • at the vary end it looks like the munchkin is saying i dont know i was realy drunk at the time lol 6:39

  • dcramer is right. gnr , get right and watch it. synch it like wilkes85 said. have a good time!!!

  • it would probably make more sence if i watched this while im high

  • @gunsnrosescolin2 it does.

  • does this mean dub side of the moon would work with the movie?? hahaha

  • I don't know. I'd love to see a video of that if you have the "Dub Side" album.

  • Who cares if DSOTM was created as an alternative soundtrack, THIS IS AWESOME!! I mean, one of the greatest albums ever paired with an AWESOME movie! this is so cool

  • Some people may call this bullshit, but they gotta see/hear the whole thing.

I totally believe this. A lot of stuff is just too perfect to be a coincidence.

But you gotta watch the whole thing!

  • @wilkes85, do you mean watch the whole movie with it synced up with the cd, or just this video, cuz i watched this whole video, and it did seem to go along

  • Yea I meant the whole movie synched with the CD. Someone had the whole thing on youtube and it was freaky!

You're supposed to start the album at the third roar of the MGM lion at the start of the movie. This right here is just the tip of the iceburg.

  • i see.. if you can find this video can you send it to me?

  • press play at the third lions roar before the movie. my bad on the thumbs down

  • its the 2nd roar

  • i dont get it

  • Money has to do with the production costs from sepia to colour

  • You gotta watch the Whole thing to appreciate the syncronosity..

  • i dont really see how they link up. i mean sure the song goes with it at the beginning sort of but thats pretty much it. i think people's minds convince them that they go hand in hand from all the hype and attention it gets. its nothing special.

  • @caseykckckc dude all of this si perfect when they dance it speeds up when they talk the singer sings perfectly

  • Any song you play can vaguely correlate to the wizard of oz, try it, the pink floyd conspiracy is bullshit

  • its alot better when you are frying balls

  • true dat

  • HAHAHAHA!!

  • I laughed so fucking hard when the cash sounds came in. Also it's creepy how this links up.

  • I've seen this like 5 times, and every time I say holy crap. O_O;; I've never seen the rest, but I've heard it's just as crazy. Gives me the chills. Who the hell discovered this anyway?

  • ???

  • Wow, what a waste of my time.

  • they move on the rhythm. what the fuck

  • love it

  • when she first walks out, it looks like an acid trip

  • the whole fucking movie looks like an acid trip

  • fabuloso was here

  • I dont GET IT!!!!

  • if you play dark side of the moon starting right after the MGM lion's third roar, the album goes with the whole movie.

  • What do you do after the album wears off though, seeing as dark side is like 43 mins and wizard of oz is about 90 or so.

  • Keep it on a continuous repeat. I'm pretty sure it syncs up with later parts of the movie.

  • you dont start both at the same time, you start the lp right when the lion does his third roar...

  • correction, the whole album goes with the movie, it ends before the movie is over although ive heard it syncs up with the rest of the movie as well if you start it over...

  • If I were looking for a reason to smoke a joint (which I'm not), watching this entire movie with that entire LP playing in the background would be the reason.

Maybe I'll go watch John Goodman's "Flintstones" movie with Spike Jones playing in the background instead... Time for a REALLY big glass of Merlot...

  • well caveman

its damn good for as old as it is

lets see if your that good ,when your that old

  • 5:28 in the background

  • damn wont let me post the link but they keep everybody focused on the bird scene when its the other scene

  • Very fun to watch. Im not seeing it match up too well but Pink Floyd is amazing, and so is The Wizard of Oz.

  • You know if youve done the timing if the lyric "black" coincides with the appearance of the wicked witch. Even pink floyd themselves deny any connection with the film, but it's interesting nonetheless. At the beginning of the film, start the album when the lion roars the LAST time int e opening MGM sequence. The vinyl actually works the best. Enjoy!!

  • timing is WAY off

  • wtf are those little fuckers???

  • quite sure it's the 3rd roar... but i'd imagine it wouldnt hurt much if you missed a roar... if you're tripping it's important to get it completely right tho

  • heh... man i always loved how the cash register went off as she opens the door and it all turns to color... acidic perfection

  • did that munchkis kill him self for real or is that fake.

  • Fake

  • Naw no munchkins were harmed in the making of this film :P Its actually one of the large birds, look like cranes, that are wandering around the scene. It does look a lot like a haning but when you look close its just a bird shaking its wings.

  • i aint talking bout that scene with the bird the other scene were it actually looks like a munchkin is hangin itself.

  • Thats the scene :) Do a search for Munchkin suicide and there's tons of videos that explain the whole event. :)

  • yee see i know for a fact thats a bird im talking bout the one were its actually a munchkin

  • type in The Real Hanging Munchkin and its at the top it shows a munchkin up close swaying back and fourth, looks like its hanged itself

  • Oh I had no clue about that scene, interesting, I myself just think its poor placement, shes stepping back and forth, if that was a usually swaying motion from a rope it would be a bit more fluid, not so stop and go like it is. And she has an odd hat that goes up beyond the frame so it look likes a noose.

But yeah it is a neat shot, thanks for the info :)

  • from my last comment- at the very top at the set time, look for at the munchkin dressed in rde, and about two or three ppl over, one of the munchkis is swinging from a rope they hanged themself on

  • haha... 4:00 cracks me up every time.

  • maybe thats what it was...

  • you have to start the album at the second roar of the MCA lion

  • I always started it at the 3rd roar

  • 5:30 to 5:33 u can see where one of the munchknis hanged themselvev (suicide)

  • don't see it...where?

  • where??

  • weirdddddd

  • wizard of oz and floyd, load of nonsense, there will many other album/film combinations ! star !

  • can someone plz explain this whole pink Floyd and wizard of oz thingy? im really confused...

  • they say if you play the album with the movie the album music seems to somehow fit the movie...yeeaaahh.

  • take dark side of the moon CD and an original copy of the wizard of oz. Then when the lion roars 3 times start the musick(DSOTM)Then after the music is done. rewind the movie to where Dorthy meets the Tin Man.Put in Wish You Were Here.Start the CD as soon as she starts tapping on the tin mans heart. The movie runs longer then then the music. When the witch melts the music should softly end as she melts. It truely an amazing coinicidence.I have watched it 3 times and I see something new everytime.

  • 4:00 and 4:40mint, the munchkin at the end with the maroon on likes to get boozed up funny and yet so great.

  • LMAO. Those stupid munchkins dance to the music perfect.

If you really want the full experience, you have to watch the whole movie with the Pink Floyd album. It's probably one of the weirdest thing's I've ever seen/heard and if set up correctly, it's perfect.

  • Mn, i did that was a little bit scary... But great... lol

  • trippy shit

  • beaitful movie with a brilliant tune. pink floyd are legends quite simply:P

  • nice

  • i see no resemblance between the sng and the mvie

  • completely agree. i've watched several of these things now and nothing syncs up.

maybe if I dropped some lsd...

  • i love this part of the move...as well as the cd lol
