The engine is a Volvo B230 with a Garret GT-40 turbo AND a Eaton M62 Supercharger. They have a custom piping set up to switch from the supercharger(low rpm) to the turbocharger(higher rpm). This four cylinder makes 578 hp and propelled the car to a time of 10.52 in the 1/4 mile.

My response was to direct to a vehicle that has been officially recorded at the speeds I quoted. That is all.

I had a mk2 Manta in 1975. It was a standard 400 model coupe, but with an experimental (then) sequential g/box. Well fast enough for me lol.

The hand break if you were referring to it is built by Mr Hilmersson as in almost everything in this car.

I was referring to the hand lever on the shifter, it looks a very high end CNC bicycle brake lever made by paul components, I was simply complimenting his choice of parts and attention to detail, as a bicycle mechanic and car lover I Thought it was great, creative use of a bicycle component.

volvo 2.3 twin cam 16 valve with compressor and turbo the compressor feeds the engin with air until the turbos spooles up and then a  valves closes off the compressor so the comp blows out and turbo takes over feeding the turbo

Huh? this Volvo redblock is NOT GM... Volvo was a separate company until FORD baught them in '98 so i don't know where you get the GM part from... Only hint of GM involvement at all is the 16V cylinder head... which the tuning division of Cosworth in GB helped with the design of the head..
