Anything the government touches turns to shit, it's much better to rely on yourself. I don't know why there are still grown men out there that feel they need to be babysat by institutions, but I'm not one of them and I'm doing fine.

I pay taxes towards the programs I use, and I choose not to file a 1040 and pay federal income tax, which is my prerogative.

If you knew anything about economics, you would know that the federal income tax serves the singular purpose of paying off the interest of loans to privitized central banking. The public services you speak of paid for by what is called 'indirect tax', which is the taxes on certain products you use. The roads and bridges you speak of are actually paid for by taxes on gasoline.

debt service accounts for less than 25% of the federal government.

That's still the largest it's ever been, but nowhere NEAR the welfare

checks that have to be borrowed from the Social Security Trust Fund,
