  • tom jonesery !

  • this sounds like a song that would be playing on 'Scooby Doo where are you ' while the gang runs from a ghoul or monster of some sort

  • that was really fun to listen to, im really happy i clicked in this

  • Knew Robert Plant pre Led Zeppelin when he played gigs with Listen at TP Riley School, Walsall and Walsall Technical College also at the Metro club in Brum with Alexis Korner, he was brilliant then when he was 17 and 18.

  • Robert definitly wasnt out of pitch, he was still in some ways a diamond in the rough, but even in the early days he had amazing natural ability.

  • I have this song on "CABALA"

  • @BonoManolo you just want someone to argue with . Desperate for attention . That the only reason you would leave that comment here . You are a sad pathetic human being .Sorry to expose you for what you are

  • sounds so different from Led Zep

  • How old was Robert Plat in 1966?

  • @pictureisup1 He was born Aug 20, 1948.

So he turned 18 in 1966

  • Do you have any "Turd Burglars" songs from Zeppelin? I love your channel & you've got some really cool stuff. Thank you for posting.

  • Jimmy Page made one of the best decisions in music history when he found and chose Robert Plant to be the lead singer for his new band, Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant is an amazing talent on his own and a living legend. Thanks for sharing this rare material!

  • @kurtmw

Yeah, easily the greatest rock vocalist in my opinion.

  • he was still doing the Steve Marriott impression

  • Interesting. The arrangement and lyrics attempt to build a fence around his voice but you can hear what's about to happen in the future. It's like asking an eight cylinder engine to only use four.

  • Thanks for posting! I have this on my "Roots" bootleg cd!!! What a voice....

  • Reminds me of Van Morrison when he was with "Them". There are a few dialect similarities.

  • Thats Robert, great voice

  • Glad he found his voice,..so to speak

  • You should put some photos from before he was in Led Zepelin besides the one which are from 1966.

  • I mean since you to not have the video that goes with this song, or is it from a cd or a recording rather than live?

  • This is like the equivalent of hearing Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett singing lead on their 1st single "Lucy Leave" from 1965----[IT'S ON YOUTUBE]----You can SORT of tell that it's him, but it's SO very different----both stylistically & vocally. He sounds more like a 60's Mick Jagger style. (The givveaway is his very British accent, though...Syd oddly never tried to sound American.) Pretty cool to hear them in their pre-fame selves, though, huh? : )

  • Exept the photos are not from pre Led Zeppelin. Sorry to be picky.

  • it sounds like he tries to make his lower register of his voice stronger, this is priceless, not knowing in a cuople of years he would be a rock god.

  • Sounds like an 18 year old Robert Plant to me. What a voice.

  • if thats actually him man he sounds so much different but i can kind of reconise his voice

  • thanks for posting

  • Love this one, thanks!
