  • 7:38 Drake's reaction!!! lol

  • I've learned that the best thing to do after a bluff (or after any hand for that matter) is to NOT say a word. If anything, Dwan should've acted like he was disappointed Ivey didn't call. You know, "Aw, shucks! I was hoping you'd pay me off on that hand. You must have had nothing to fold there." Dwan exposed himself with B.S. "lighting" excuse and makes himself look silly on television. Ivey correctly sums up Dwan's whole explanation the best way possible, "No......... (awkward silence)........"

  • 9:28 sounds like phils no

  • 9:18 is how he got j. tilly

  • 7:28 is a inverted tell and i think he wanted Ivey to see that

  • @GoldenBoyXCM 9:10 such a liar

  • 258,2? 268,2 :D 6:21

  • I think that the commentator was wrong here, Dwan did no look nervous at all, I saw his face in other plays as well, he always looks like that, I like Ivey too, he is awesome, both he and Dwan, but to me the commentator seemed a little bit to excited for Ivey and not enough credit to Tom, fantastic hand non the less

  • "something wrong with the lights" suuuureee....lights...:)

  • I can watch this over and over again and everytime I hope that Ivey calls...

  • BEST STONE-COLD BLUFF EVER.

  • Tom Dwan has balls... I literally think I would have had a heart attack a couple of minutes into Ivey staring me down after the river bet.

  • I love watching Ivey play... This hand is possibly the ONLY hand i've ever seen in which he is outplayed. But if he'd made the call, it would have been the best televised call of all time, possibly just the best ever period (considering the amount of money).

  • I would pay to see tom dwans face if ivy would of said all in on the river. Kid would of committed suicide

  • @PesarTarofi why would he have commited suicide when that is scraps compared to his net worth

  • Asking like a boss!.. "How much is that and how much do you have left?" -Ivey

  • now we know that phil ivey is still an human!

  • tom dwuan is the only player I've seen owning phli ivey in a cash game

  • it dos not matter how many times i watch this, he still is not gonna call :(

  • @djsamz3 lol iknow right

  • Phil Ivey is best palyer in the world, its no question.

But Dwan is just amazing, he ist my HERO!!!

  • i wished negreanu woulda said what he thought ivey had and made a fool outta himself

  • Wow cant imagine how Ivey must have felt when he saw the hand on TV

  • won of the grts pls vr

    shld hv svd ezale

  • won of the grts pls vr

  • Glad to be in your orbit... gotta love phil laak.

  • dwans got the balls

  • must see people 9:27 the moment ivey realises he was bluffed !!!!

  • mid 20's Phil would have raised. lol maybe

  • I think the instant Ivey folded he realized he was bluffed. Funny how that happens...

  • Poetry in motion

  • PHIL LAAK: "It looks quite baller with iveys stacks of money and chips it is most baller " lol! that';s because it is!

  • ivey thinking bout the call doesnt just show how good ivey is but how bad durrs bluuf is. I guarantee if ivey had a good ten or queen he would have called river.

  • @NoWayFolding Keep giving Tom Dwan lessons when he steals 200 grand from the best player in the world.

  • @MsMarc1234 he took 200k off him by luck... Phil Ivey would crush Tom Dwan. Phil had the absolute bottom of his range yet he was stilling tanking. Phil literally cant have a worse hand. Maybe some other flush draw but apart from that they are all pairs better than his hand. I think the only reason Phil folded was because Tom could have been bluffing with a better pair. Maybe something like T9/JT trying to get him. It really just shows that Tom is way overrated.

  • @NoWayFolding "by luck", thats what every bad player says. Funny you dont see Phil Ivey saying that. Yeah, Tom is overrated - thats why he is a millionaire, and you are giving him terrible lessons on youtube. Chump...

  • @NoWayFolding But in this spot the bottom of his range and the middle of his range are exactly the same. Dwan isn't betting like this with any hand worse than KQ for value (k10 is better to call with preflop cus its too good to turn into a bluff and not strong enough to squeeze for value but if dwan had it, he might play it like that postflop). If Ivey folds the 6, hes also folding any 1 pair hand. If he does that, his calling range is super narrow so the bluff may be profitable.

  • @Darkens101 someone with a decent reply...... and you actually make a good point, and I agree. The bottom and middle of his range are the same vs his value hands. Dwans value range is pretty strong here, and KQ would be some serious thin value, but definitely possible. The thing is dwans bluffing range definitely could consist of a lot of Tx which means that calling with 6x would be disastrous, whereas with a better one pair hand like a strong Tx or Jx hand you are beating all of Dwan bluffs..

  • @MsMarc1234 the best in the world is actually durrrrr!

  • Dwan could rep a # of strong hands: KK, QQ, TT, AJ, J9, KQ. With any of these hands, he'd barrel every street given the board texture.

How the hell did Ivey even consider calling then? This is why Ivey is amazing. He must had some read.

For Dwan, he must have put Ivey on a pair + draw type hands (KJ, QJ, JT, or Qx diamonds, etc). Ivey cold called raise + 3bet preflop AND never raised on that drawy board, so he wouldn't have any strong hand that Dwan is representing. So, Dwan bluffs on river...

  • ffffffuck i just want Ivey to say after the river bet by durr "im all in". Ive watched this so many times and still think he will do it. maybe next time i watch it?

  • @JBFarrar1 same looks like he is about to say it !!

  • ffffffuck u just Ivey to say after the river bet by durr "im all in". Ive watched this so many times and still think he will do it. maybe next time i watch it?

  • Seems like cameras screwed this whole hand up. Ivey knew he was bluffing but can't take the chance of calling and looking stupid on the very small chance he wasn't. Instead he has to spend 5 minutes in front of the camera saving face.

I give Ivey credit, he doesn't do that a lot but guys like Negreanu who do that all the time tick me off.

  • @91bobdole

"Ivey knew he was bluffing but can't take the chance of calling and looking stupid on the very small chance he wasn't. Instead he has to spend 5 minutes in front of the camera saving face."

That's exactly what was going through my mind the first time I watched this. Still shocked that Phil gave it up. What helps Dwan is that he gives out so little info and he usually plays good hands & bad hands the same way. The way this hand unfolded just shows how much Ivey respects Dwan's game.

  • Durrr is Sick !

  • wowowowowowowow

  • Dwan is a greaaaaat player, but i always notice how his eyes are really fucked... they look so weird and they always get fucked when he makes a big bluff, ive seen him 2 other times on 2 vids how his eyes got fucked when he was waiting for his opponent to act when he makes a bluff..

  • i took a break from poker for a few months, now i realize that no one can beat - ivey durrrr nor antonius. they are legends.

  • i've watched this hand like ten times sick bluff yo

  • Tom Dwan is my HERO

  • I'm not even joking every time Eli makes a prediction about whether a player has a hand or not he's ALWAYS wrong!! It just proves how fucking shit he is at poker

  • I miss Gabe

  • @LordAndsen We all miss Gabe, AJ Benza aswell!

  • *negreanu looks at j3cc.*

how much is it? 31? ok

  • pokerview accepts us players very good reliable site

  • the epitome of a true triple barrel bluff

  • Love it how Gabe is saying Ivey being over 1,000,000 means he can buy burger!!

  • @VicenzoV

yeah, but ivey had or has a side bet going on for one million dollar that he doesn't eat meat for a whole year. that's why :)

  • @michigrind23 Thanks for being the kind of person who explains these things.

  • @VicenzoV yeah.. because of their 1 million dollar sidebet, you idiot

  • @disfiguration Thanks for your informative reply, and have a nice day.

  • 9:16... Ivey knows he was had! Luv the Durrr, he has got balls of steel.....

  • 6:51 phil ivey rapping lol

  • If ivey called there, Dwan would be flipping burgers at the Mc Donalds now.

  • Wow I'm gonna bet what was it $40k, then 120k, then 268k and I don't have even have a pair and only 9 high - wow Durr has some king kong balls.

  • I have to see this to certify this actualy happened once, everytime I start watching poker vids

  • Thats highest level poker.

  • phil was getting pissed off. It was obvious by the look on his face and his sudden tight movements

  • a casual 250 000 dollar (cash) bluff on the river. intense

  • what do you guys think ivey would do if an ace hit on the river?

  • everyone is a poker expert on youtube

  • greatest bluff i ever see :) incredible

  • can you imagine if ivey would make that call there that prob would be the best call in history of poker with the amount of money what was out there and tom dwan even started burping its already sick that ivey is really thinking about calling there.

but after the hand was done you can see ivey knows from there tom bluffed him the way tom reacted he looked so happy that ivey folded by starting to talk he never does that but well played by durrrr hope to see more of this in the future tom & ivey!!

  • Ivey later watched the hand on TV and drove to Dwan's house with a shotgun.

  • Ivey and dwan aren;t on the new season cause pokerstars bought the show.

  • 1more minute and dwan would start to cry there.his nerves were really att hte edge

  • WOW WHAT A BLUFF.

  • if ivey called it would be best poker BLUFF/CALL ever made in history of poker!

  • three words..... NEXT LEVEL SHIT

  • Elezra at 9:14 LOL! Sounds sooo confident though!

  • SICKEST READ ON IVEY

  • @akparker1 that wasn't a read u fuckin moron. it was just a bluff

  • did everyone know full tilt pros are not gonna be on the next season? ya its true cause pokerstars bought the show

  • @Patricio87 thats bullshit, there are alot of shows sponsored by pokerrooms who feature players from other rooms. You dont understand anything about making a good pokershow. And if you are right and only pokerstars pro's are welcome next season, hsp fucked up real bad cause they ripped the soul out of the show.

  • @StrangeDeimos

It is true. Barry Greenstein confirmed it on 2+2 forums. No FT pros on HSP. Really blows.

  • @b1naryd1g1t5

Thats ridiculous, and what about other pokerrooms, i mean almost every player is affiliated with a pokerroom in some way. especially the newer players. They still could have Farha, elezra, greenstein, dont think they are sponsored.

  • phil ivey woulda probably called if negreanu and laak didnt distract him.

  • Its so hard to bluff on very street, incredible play by Dwan there

  • dwan is fukin cRazy with hes chips!!!!!!!! im not sure about that play

  • When ivey sees this video, he had to be sick, very sick...

  • @SpitSpout

Ivey knew at the 9:29 mark

  • haha @ negreanu saying i know what you have ivey, and ivey says no you don't, and negreanu says yeah i do, you didnt know sh!t negreanu so stfu!

  • @ziggyzaooo He prolly knows...

  • This one of the best bluffs of all time. Credits to Iver for contemplating the call too.

  • is poker go home sleep ./

  • whew! wish i have that guts to bluff! hehehe

  • Unsurprisingly, a million people have commented with should'a-would'a etc. etc. forgetting that these are two of the greatest players in the world. Ivey considering a $268k call with a pair of 6s, Dwan firing that amount with 9-high, they're just a joy to watch :)

  • THIS MAN is so sick noo such thing as position whoevers first to fire the gun and shoot

  • if Phil Ivey made that call, I seriously would never even consider putting anyone on his stratosphere! but my god, dwan had an amazing play to fire full steam ahead every part of the hand... i could watch these guys go head to head for hours on end

  • i would have brokedown if i was dwan

  • PLs can people stfu acting like they are expert on what would and would not happen. Ivey got bluffed simple as. WHen you make high stakes and are a pro people may listen to your opinion,. Until then, pls stfu thanks

  • Lucky Dwan

  • Dwan Ownd Ivey!

here and also with that 1.1 milion pot

  • @MrRomkahana5 yeah he really owned up....got him to fold 6's

  • They should put some heart rate monitors on these players.

  • it got outta hand lol

  • It is freaking sick how Dwan played that hand, but even sicked that Phil was so close to calling with ace high.

  • @mavvvvvv with a pair of sixes, not ace high. Anyway it doesnt change the fact that it was a crazy hand

  • @mavvvvvv Ivey had pair of sixes

  • if ivey calls i retire from poker forever..

  • wtfffffffffffffffffffffffff CALL mannnn

  • damn ! he should've called ~

  • that large pre-flop raise saved dwan as ivey probably put him on AK or at least a face card excellent timing on the bluff Mr. Dwan

  • @akmd114379 theres no way dwan had AK , wtf man you really he's gonna play one pair like this

dwan had a set or straight , not just one pair

youre really bad in poker if you think he had that

  • @jorishae look dude if you really know dwan like Ivey does and I've been following his play for a long time you would know that Dwan usually slow plays big hands (set, straight, flush) and over bets small hands (such as a pair or when he bluffs) so I just mentioned that Ivey probably knowing that may have put Dwan on AK ... even Gabe mentioned that Ivey knows he wont get Dwan to lay down AK

  • @akmd114379 no way that dwan would bet on river 260000 in a pot of 400000

with just ace king especially not against ivey

but youre right if dwan has a set he usually check one time but yeah there were a lot of dangerous cards who could come out like jack , diamond andso

so i dont think slowplay here is a good option especially against ivey

so with the 6 of clubs as a non card , dwan wouldnt bet that much with ace king

he would bet like 120000 to get payed off by king jack orso

  • @jorishae but thats the thing he would bet that strong on weak hands to push Ivey off only slightly strong hands which he probably put Ivey on. See Dwan realized after the smooth call on the turn by Ivey that Ivey had a marginal hand or a draw and in order to get Ivey off the hand he would have to bet at least half the pot. See Dwan knew where Ivey was in the hand and it was Ivey who had no idea where Dwan was. I believe that Ivey put dwan on AK AQ which is why he was thinking so hard at the end

  • @akmd114379 what ace queen

you think dwan would value bet second pair so hugh against ivey

no way , and dwan would never bet so big 3 times with middle pair against the best in the world ,and dont forget he was out of position

ivey might had ace king orso , really hard to tell when youre out of position

i think dwan bet so big to maybe make him fold a QJ orso or a busted flush draw

but no way dwan had ace king , he would bet on river a thirth of the pot in case ivey had a q or weaker king

  • @jorishae There was alot of money from the start and dwan wanted to win it at all costs even at the risk of his bankroll ... i believe he put ivey on the exact hand he was on (a busted flush). Thats why he put so much on the river. I believe if ivey had a top pair in that situation he would have called. Ivey I believe put dwan on middle or top pair.

  • @jorishae "orso" isn't a word...

  • @jorishae I dont think he was going to straight call but go all in to push Dwan off AK AQ. If he put Dwan on a hugh hand like a set or nut straight he would have folded quicker on the river as he knew that Dwan would have been pot committed. Ivey really didnt want to see Dwan win all that money with just a pair in that situation which is why he couldnt call.

  • @akmd114379 no ivey waited that long because he knew it was big hand or nothing

  • Quick check his pants! lmao... Dwan is sick, Ivey is supersick! :D

  • damn i really wish Ivey called.........strong play by Dwan his heart was beating sooooo fast while Phil was tanking. Also Gabe is by far the best poker commentator in the business

  • i just keep watching this over and over and thinking: "no daniel, you don't know what he has!" lol.

  • Lmao I'm glad to be at your orbit...

  • jesus christ i still cant believe what i just saw :)

  • amazing hand.. thought Ivey is really going to call

  • @yankyyyy

Nope not me, i'm not dumb. I actually read

  • @MeyersBlake he could have seen it happen on tv first you know

  • Can't wait to see Phil Ivey's interview about this hand...you know it's been done.

  • no, it's form episode 5

  • this is from episode 6

  • Sick play, Dwan´s got nerves of steal!

  • @TheKillerYoda u mean the nerves to steal!

  • @TheKillerYoda Steel.

  • @TheKillerYoda Nerves of steal/ steel... very clever ;) lol

  • @TheKillerYoda 20 people either liked your comment, or liked the spelling mistake on 'steel'
