The mainquest itself lacked some depth (for example the antagonist is presented to you way to early), however the love for details is very apparent. It's a pity that traditional JRPGs are doomed, because everything must be extremely flashy and straight-forward now...Goodbye Xenogears, Xenosaga, FFX, FFVII (Original)...

Yeah the guitar solo I didn't know was there for quite some time, but I once let the game sit at the world map theme for a while when I was eating and I was very surprised when it came up lol.

Very good choice, Nobuo Uematsu is one of the best videogame music composers ever, this is one of the best jobs of him, since they leave square-enix, the Final Fantasy franchise isn't the same. The best part is on 1:40, amazing, but reminds me much the music of Dinasty Warriors Games XD XD XD.

It's a real shame this game uses a point and click map for non-vehicle transportation and no music for when you are in a vehicle. This theme is a thing of beauty. I wish it was featured a bit more prominently.
