@asisrout1988 dear friend, i am a muslim and i have a keen interest in learning islam, i try. The names u mentioned above are no doubt good people am may Allah bless them. FINITO! The problem I see is that muslims today disregard their obligatory duties (farz) like 5 prays a day, zakat, fasting, good character etc etc but they give importance to extra things (like going to dargas etc). Basic lesson in Islam is ask Allah directly for help....there is no need of a middle man (like these saints).

@asisrout1988 The backbone of a muslim, wherever in the world he/she might be, is the Quran. The Quran is meant to be the guidance and steering wheel of the muslim. But sadly, a huge majority of muslims today do not read and understand, reflect on the Quran. The foundation of faith (Eeman) is weak. These dargas are just new additions to our Deen (religion). The prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) never mentioned any such acts, niether does the Quran. Be aware!

This is not message of islaam,this has nothing to with message of Quraan and hadees,haji ali may be a saint,but who has authaticated of his being saint or wali(freind of Allah) only Allah knows the best.This is mere practice of non muslims.

Islam never differentiate with muslims,hindus christians,sikhs and other beleivers.we all are equal in eyes of creature,it differentiate only the way of remebering him.evryone beleives in god.

but question here is not whether muslims paying homage to such muslim saints is really islamic or non-islamic. [ arguably, it is somehow inspired by hinduism practices, that muslims started doing sajda in front of humans too; & the practice started being called 'Sufism']

Sufi music is not made by shaitan but Allah Taala and came through Auliyas like Amir Khusro and u cant find Mazhar Shareef of Sahabas RadiAllahuTaala Anhuma bcoz of wahabi najdi who destroyed all the Mazars during his lifetime and the biggest example of Mazar Shareef is Mazar Shareef of Huzur Sallallahu Alaiwasallam and other prophets Alaisalam if u dont know try to find out through internet.Try to unite and stop creating differences.

She lived in Mumbai for 60 years, (worked as principal of Ismail Yousuf College), saw it grow from independence till present and took all those memories of her life in this city in her heart back to Allah. it isn't so. we r not meeting god thru his secretary, its very simple we just consider them as "wasila".which means that we consider them more close to god as they were better than us , so anybody who visits haji ali or any such place has simply one thing in mind that maybe we will get what we r not getting if these pious people will pray 4 us .like at times we ask our parents to pray 4 us becoz we think that if our parents will pray 4 us then everything will be allright in our lives.

that is human nature, nobody among us has really seen God, some of say they do feel it. But nobody is sure to 100% but most of us are 100% sure that it is there. but then these statements are different.

people go to Dargah because there is inherent reverance for these men/women because of their acts in society. Also people know God is diff but they tend to see God in it because actually God is everywhere and not stationary sitting somewhere. this feeling of God being there is what is faith.
