ISSUES: It wont load some images. When playing something on youtube and scrolling the video will pause (not the sound though). It wont show the thumbnail and link info when posting a link in your facebook status which usually enables you to delete the link and then post a comment in its place. People have been complaining about these things since it came out they need to fix it already. Theres no use if I have to open another browser just to see some pics on a site or post to facebook.

Opera, on its own, is naturally faster than chrome, firefox, ie and other browsers. AND it has many other features.

I'm getting really fed up with the fact that every time I update Opera it switches to default settings and all my personal settings and prefrences are lost.

I then have to mess around with it each time putting it back to how I want it instead of browsing - making it during that time the slowest browser in the world.

I actually put off updates now until the nag screen just gets too much and I give in.

If it happens again I'm thinking it might be quicker to just try chrome or something.

the only reason i prefer mozilla is because of the add-ons it has.

I switched over to Opera recently from Firefox, and damn is it fast, and easy to use! Opera also looks better, I like that it fits right in with Windows 7's aero theme.

Opera is still the only browser I've found that supports mousewheel scrolling through tabs right out of the box (or at all for that matter. Today i found something interesting. A proof that Opera is the fastest browser on earth. The on-screen keyboard which Google added to the search box. I've tried moving it randomly on the screen in FireFox, Chrome and Opera. Guess in which browser it ran the most smoothly! Opera! I'm so proud of my favorite browser! Using it since 2004.

I really like Operas interface and they are idd the leading browser when it comes to innovation. But they still have a lot of web standards problems...

Yes they get 100/100 on acid3 but I have experiences a lot of bugs when using it. for instance I had problems with custom scroll bars that scroll the wrong way when using the mouse wheel. And there even was a display bug on Android,com... They fixed the website now though.

And that's the only reason I don't I haven't switched yet :(

Yes, Opera rocks! And yes, I love it.

But there are still some bugs in the 10.51, and these bugs make it impossible for me to visit my three favorite sites.......because Opera does not load all buttons of the forums of these sites.........so trying to write there is impossible if Opera does not give me the "send it" button....:-(

Oh wow, opera 10.50 is so much faster than 10.10. i hated 10.10 for how slow and bad it was, and i just downloaded the mac beta for 10.50 and it is really fast, although it does hiccup sometimes and takes a little bit to start loading. webpages snap right away and youtube videos load faster. I still don't know if i can live without the chrome unibar though, having 2 seperate bars after using chrome just feels stupid now

@AjblueDesign Youtube load times have almost nothing to do with what browser you're using. They're dependent on your Internet connection, Youtube's server's connection, and how good Flash is. Youtube videos load just as fast in IE6 as they do in Opera.

I really love the UI, it really matches with the Windows 7 taskbar. The old UI's are getting stale and boring, sure Chrome defined a new UI style but Opera took it and made it better, plus the Naked Skin for Opera is great, having an Aeroized Speed Dial is amazing, I love everything about Opera, except still no extension, at least have a system like Chromes :(

I hate firefox's extension (slow down the browser) but Chrome implemented them like they were apps for chrome.

@BeWhatBeRight . You are mistaken. Turbo, Unit, Link are specific functions. They are available in Opera only. You can share your files, create websites and use chat with these functions. Google Chrome is very minimalistic.

I used to use opera until chrome came out because well speed. But the latest opera KILLS Chrome. I just tried it out and it has some amazing features, like the Opera Turbo, it's great for slow Internet speeds like in public places like schools or cafe's. Plus their spell check actually works, compared to Chrome. Opera is faster.

I'm still using Chrome though because the extensions...
