  • Don't get me wrong but it is so obvious that vista would load that fast. i read 4 GB on your spec. Higher ram means faster service to the computer. and your computer looks brand new. Anyway, do you like that Vista. As a XP user, using vista makes me... uh, new to the world of computer. And they say vista sucks

  • @siosond It sucks indeed and that's why I use Win 7 nowadays. I added an Intel SSD as my primary hard drive and it's freaking fast now (boots in 25 seconds)!

  • So Windows Vista Home premium boot in 35 second

  • aika nopeasti buuttaa =)

  • omg dieses Handy XD

  • Mines boots in 7 seconds, check out my video for the proof.

  • @Iuliskaya enough .............

  • Nice! I'm gonna build up a new computer right after NVIDIA will release its first DX11 GPU. I've tried Heaven Benchmark v1.0 with my 8800GTX and I have DX11 drivers but since my GPU is only DX10, it'll run on DX10 too! And I can say that it looks so much better on DX11 because the shapes won't be flat like when using DX10. I'm not sure if you got me but watch some videos of it and try Heaven Benchmark on your computer, so you'll see what I mean.

  • hey i found out today that my 4gb of ram is ddr at 200mhz >.> so i want to get 2 x 2gb ddr2 1066mhz if i get that and leave the other 2 drr's in (have 4 slots) will they all work or no? and is there a way i can find out if my motherboard will take ddr2 or ddr3 my motherboard is A8N-SLI Premium. Thanks.

  • Memory - 4 x 184-pin DIMM Sockets support max. 4GB DDR400/DDR333/DDR266 ECC/ non-ECC un-buffered DDR SDRAM memory

    - Dual Channel Memory Architecture

And it's recommended that you use only RAM with same specs, because usage of different types of RAM may slow down your computer.

  • anyways i found out my motherboard dosen't support ddr2 anyway so im going to adventuly get ddr2 1066mhz 2x 2gb, AMD phenom 2 quad core 3.2ghz, XFX geforce 250 gtx or sumthing not sure yet and not sure what motherboard i need maybe the AMD 790x but i dont know if it supports sli, and multiple monitors but I think that matters on the video card. Now i just need money :P

  • Buy my computer, so I can make a new one! XD

  • lol :P i wont have enough till around summer anyways lol :P but can't wait

  • anything below 1 gigs sucks ass and is slow. i have 8 gigs of ram

  • i bet 64 bit though

  • @sammymunir

    i have 24gb

    and my processor is 4.6ghz

  • i have a windows XP with 512 mb ram and mine boots up at the same speed as yours =\

  • Remember that I have Vista, which simply sucks...

  • my is in 20-23sec i have window 7 4gb ram 3.40ghz

  • W7 is so much better than Vista. Vista simply sucks :D

  • yahh i ready have window home premiun and suck have nice apparence but heard drive full to fast install stuff u dont want

  • my fastest is 20 seconds

  • LOL, my custom PC have 7.3 on windows ex. index...

It's only AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE

    Palit GeForce GTX275

Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P (best motherboard for my procesor, because i can make my Tri-Core to Quad-Core fully stable on 100% load all 4 cores thanks for Hybrid Firmware by Gigabyte)

    Topower M5 550W T2 SilentEZ

    4x1024mb ram 800mhz kingston

    Windows 7 Ultimate RTM build7600

  • How do you have the RTM? Its not out till oct. 23

  • Hahha did u hear somthing about torrent images?

  • heitä sun koneseen SDS kovalevy niin boot time lyhentyy 50% ;p

  • TYYPILLÄHÄN ON STEAMI.

  • Säkö mut lisäsit? XD

ps. Steamihan pitää olla jokaisella :d

  • öö.. en ole lisännyt. :D

  • i know why is the IC2Q that fast.

  • my computer is like yours and it use to do this but something happened, then the vista stop working could you help me anyone

  • Can't say anything on a description like that...

  • mine is 28 secs! watch my video

  • Windows vista just sucks that is all.

  • hey i was wondering what is ur idle and load temps on ur cores

  • My idle temp is 46°C (CPU) and 42°C (System) and while playing Team Fortress 2 on full graphs, it's 54°C (CPU) and 49°C (System). It might get a bit warmer when playing logner and my main chassis fan is only on medium power.

  • Hmmn, that's not as fast as my E8400. My system can boot up in 35 seconds from switching it on from cold first thing in the morning, from the very first start screen to the desktop screen. I suppose if you had a 1600Mhz FSB and excellent quality hardware, you could boot up in an insane time, like say, 20 seconds from switching it on.

  • Yeah, my FSB is 1121.84 on "turbo"

  • Windows Vista is better with a WideScreen Monitor

  • I have now 1680x1050 widescreen. I bought it after I made this vid. The monitor in the vid is now my second screen.

  • But can you do Youtube HD? coz i think max is 1280X720 right?

  • It's an HD screen but not a full HD. And isn't 1680 more than 1280 and 1050 more than 720? So I can easily watch HD vids on YouTube!

  • This video is Amazing, lol hahahah

  • My Acer Aspire 6530G laptop boots up about 50 seconds in Vista Home Premium SP1 and CPU is 2.00GHz Dual Core.

  • what was the point of this video.....

  • "This is a video response to What's Your Fastest Boot Up Time?"

  • Omg newest phone ever :P

  • Yeah! At the time when I made this video, I had lost my iPod Touch and with iPod Nano you couldn't show the stopwatch and computer at the same time, so this was the only thing that came on my mind... XD

  • Haha :P lol:)

  • my windows xp boots only 3 seconds dude... need a faster processor, high memory and a 160 gb hard disk drive and a best mainboard. That is the requirements of your vista operating system.. poor little guy. you should switch back to windows xp.

  • By the way, the reason why my computer boots slowly is the primary hard disk, which got only 5.4 points on Windows Experience Index. Processor, graphics, and gaming graphics all got 5.9 and memory (RAM) got 5.7.

  • I have four times 1Gb ram! 4x1=4Gb ram!

  • guys remember he is on 1 GB ram aswell that slows down vista aswell ;)

  • 4x 800.0 MHz 1.00 GB=4Gb...

  • wow it took a quad core a min to load that?

    what a piece of crap.

i load my xp home in approx 11 secs

  • :D I know that my boot up should be faster but I haven't done anything to boost it up...

  • That's like me saying OoO XP sucks My Windows 3.1 boots in 2 seconds. (Rolleyes)

  • that power supply comes with a 8-pin for the motherboard or a 4-pin only ?

  • Features: 80mm low noise cooling fan Dual 12V outputs: 12V2 for Motherboard and peripherals; 12V1 for processor Industrial-grade protection circuitry prevents damage resulting from short circuits, power overloads, over voltage, and under voltage 80 PLUS® certified 4 SATA connectors PCI-E connector: one for 380W and 430W, two for 500W Safety approvals: UL, CUL, FCC, TÜV, CE, CB, C-tick, CCC Universal input Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) PF value up to 99%
  • you motherboard is ?

  • Oh I forgot to list it! It's Asus P5E

  • My boot is about 40 secs and i am using all the vista offers also, and i have 2 gigs of ram. if you got to little ram it will get slow

  • Mines 50 seconds

  • my boot is 3 seconds

  • my boot on vista is 24 seconds

  • Maybe but you aren't using glass theme, are you?

  • no i am using glass theme and every thing that the vista offers

  • nice.

  • Yayy! I beat ya!

  • Mine boots in 45, and it is slow compared to yours...

    2GHz Core 2 Duo mobile

    8400m GS

    160GB 5400RPM HD

    2GB RAM

    see my video on it

  • my vista boots in 50 secs from turning on the power button although i dont have as good specs as yours. u shud use Auslogics Boostspeed

  • yeah same as the guy before me i got 30 seconds on XP...

  • 26 seconds to start up into XP for me. . . .

  • I get around 40+ seconds! I have 4 Gigs RAM! 2 Gb are required for Vista to run at full speed!

  • Nice! I think that it's good to have 4GB of RAM instead of 2GB for the games in the future :D.

  • Clean your start-up(let only the antivirus and firewall), disable useless services, disable system restore, readyboost, superfetch for better boot-up time! A heavily tweaked vista can be run even on an 256 Mb ram system with Pentium 3 processor! S.M.A.R.T technology for HDD is recommended to be disabled also for better hdd speed!

OH! I almost forgot! Disable file indexing and operations with files will be faster!

  • i get a 40 second startup on a windows xp with way crappier stats, clean up your start up
