  • Depressing..I dont understand what happened to the City Council to allow this to happen. The dollar should only go so far. Why does AMD need that site right there so badly? So they can watch water and work? I just don't understand

  • Thanks for expressing your concern. AMD's CEO Hector Ruiz lives very close to this new site. That is likely one factor. Another is likely prestige of being on a hill in Southwest Austin.

    The City Council completely refused to take AMD to task for this move when they had the chance to prevent it, and now we have the pollution that we feared.
