  • you almost killed the guy at the end i saw you push him he almost tripped over that chair. Who put the chair there??? HMMMM

  • i seen alot of videos of police and such violating rights but this old man was harmless,I felt bad for the man, next time just walk away, he just didnt know, he is "tripping on his own feet" as hilmaka said =/

  • HOLY CRAP.. polite correct law abiding cop? what is his name?

  • i guess this is a minor reason why american citizens pay these state troopers their salaries

If we have more troopers protecting the american people this will be a safer america to come

  • notice his freemason badge on his left chest ....

  • notice the party badges? why would a freemason try to tell someone they can't film?

  • leave the poor guy .. cant you see he is tripping on his own feet :)

  • aww leave the poor the guy along !!!! hehe

  • that old guy seems nice at least.

  • @freestaterhater It's fun you should try it sometime!

  • i enjoy your delivery of the ad, its not tacky or annoying :)

  • I've not made a desicon, remain calm ! Best line ever.

  • I thought there was a law against hiring the mentally handicapped as security guards, but I guess not!

  • bloody freemason what a fail! lol

  • You're a punk, that's what you are. You act as if your liberal rights to do whatever you want were violated. He never acted like he was some big and bad authority figure. He was doing what he thought was right. He apologized to you. He said sorry for touching your camera even though you were being a douche for having it in his face.

I bet you got a medal from the ACLU for this. Great job!

  • @AOWestchester

If he didn't do anything wrong - why the apology?

  • @Stalicone reading comprehension, buddy... learn it. use it.

  • @AOWestchester

Nice non-responsive answer. Why would I even expect anything else?

  • @Stalicone Yeah, AOWestchester is a fucking moron.

  • @AOWestchester No need to impugn the ACLU. You evidently don't understand what they stand for or what they do. Too bad ~

  • @AOWestchester Actualy that old man looks more like a liberal to me. But ofcourse a Neo-Con like you does not know the true meaning of conservative. You are a fake conservative, and in fact you supporting that old mans actions are very liberal. Neo-cons and liberals are pretty much the same thing. You are a Neo-Con a liberal who claims to be conservative.

  • @Mark123USA Actually neocons are the most conservative of all. They want the return to Ancient Europe.

  • @Mark123USA you are a total moron.

  • Actually, the old guy touching the camera is not assault. It is battery.

  • that old fart is a mason!

  • dude just go sing in

  • It's one thing to debate the issues at hand, or criticize the actions of this older gentlemen, but quite another to make fun of someone because he's showing signs of getting old and in the case of one supreme fool, even "loving" that he almost falls. Every day, all over the world, countless elderly people die from the effects of a fall. Would you like to see that happen to your parents or grandparents? What the fuck is the matter with some of you?

  • bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HAHAHA!!!! Kudos to them!!!!

  • This guy is a prick! Dont touch my camera thats assault? What a pussy. Get a real job.

  • @3516kate Pussy? He had the courage to stand up against a government drone trying to violate his rights. You're the real pussy here. You'd let the asshole walk all over you.

  • Comment removed

  • @VerySuperMassively Aww, 3516kate closed its account and made a troll profile. Cute. It's now evident that you've just been childishly trolling from the beginning. Fucking pathetic.

Not that it's worth arguing with a troll asshole, but the guard there is a public servant. He's hired to serve the public, and instead he's standing in the way of the public seeing what the government - that we pay with our tax dollars - is doing to a private citizen.

  • @VerySuperMassively Feel free to research New Hampshire law on "official oppression", which is illegal.

"(a) A public servant acting under color of his office or employment commits an offense if he intentionally denies or impedes another in the exercise or enjoyment of any right, privilege, power, or immunity."

Then again, I would guess that your entire purpose here on YouTube is to troll, and you don't actually care about any facts or rational thought.

  • @Supermassively another liberal turn heard from. Seriously...some old retired guy making 8.50 an hour is a government drone who was TRYING to violate his rights? You're a douchebag as well and you probably wear skinny jeans. Go back to the village.

  • @AOWestchester I think your perception of the universe must be horribly skewed, probably by drug use, because nothing in your comment makes any logical sense. Liberal? Skinny jeans? Are you really that fucking stupid?

  • Comment removed

  • @VerySuperMassively LOL! You're replying to yourself to make it look like your idiotic views actually hold water? HAHAHAHAHA! That is both hilarious and pathetic.

  • I think that poor old guy was confused, at his age it is common.

  • Not only does the older gentleman not know what he's keeping you from doing, but he loses further sheep cool points at the end by tripping. Luckily, he didn't get hurt. Good job on this, man.

  • "You're all set Mr. Ridley" Progress! Yes! Good for you!

  • holy fuck a trooper that knows a citizens rights?

    has hell frozen over?

  • I love it how the old man almost falls at the end

  • Dude thinks since he's a Mason he's tough shit.

  • "OK Mr Ridley"- They know that he's a pain in the ass.

  • Freemason! WTF?

  • freemason emblem soooo coooool

  • HAAAAAAAAAAAAA I love when that happens. Those were cool LEO's

  • soooo now ur MR RIDLEY haha...much love from England

  • Right on! Send the Nazi packin'. The Troopers must be oath keepers. Gotta love em.

  • i love america/europe... "the camera is illegal unless you sign in down stairs"... police come by "hes legally allowed to videotape"... "oh, i appologise"... HOW FUCKING POLITE AND LEGALLY CORRECT WAS THIS VIDEO!?!?! this is the best video ive seen all day... russian cops wouldent have warned him, just beat him to the ground like gorillas... im proud of where i live, but i am moving to california, IF they get a democratic govenor

  • What's all this about the guy being a freemason, lol?

He was just some asshole security guard who didn't know the law.

  • well he was only doing his job, he did what he was told to do, and after they told him it was okay, he apologized

  • Heyyyy an honest trooper!!!!!!!!

  • WOW FREEMASON BASTERD!!

  • @babyphatchanel The guy was just doing his job. Notice how the "BASTERD" (sic) freemason cordially offered his apology and moved on. Freemason or not, he's just another guy who probably believes his government would never lie to him, and he must do his duty, which apparently is security.

    Cordially,

-A Mason planning to move to the Keene area in support of the FSP and of freedom everywhere and for everyone.

  • @Maat922 the government only lies when republicans are in power

  • @wildboy789789 Haha! You made a joke.

  • wtf that guy has texas ranger pin on his shirt next to the freemason

  • FREEMAASOn, WHY DO YOUU GIIVE BAAD NAAME FOOR THEM agaaain

  • i like how they knew your name already

  • Alright this is a great example of civil disobedience as the troopers know but being an asshole while doing it is another story... If you are making the law bend over backwards at least do the same yourself. By that I mean offer information to those that don't know your cause to inform them to your intentions instead of looking like an asshat to an old man. I'm not trying to tell you to "be good" but please be reasonable and not by the law but by common sense. We can all agree to that.

  • as he was walking away i was waiting for you to mumble "jerkoff" or something... = ) lol that woulda been the best...

  • give that trooper a raise!

  • i like when the guy walks into the chair

  • you are funny - put the old guy (security guard) is just trying to his job!

  • It's my belief that freemasons hate freedom and are undermining our government. see quotes from past presidents on the subject of freemasons and secret societies.

  • this guy is a freemason, look at his pins on his vest. America will have freedom and liberty when freemasonary is removed from all our legal system

  • Sorry, that's not assault if someone touches a camera in public.

  • Nice to see positive actions by the NH State Troopers. Thanks for sharing, Dave.

Kudos to Edge Ascent for choosing to advertise their good idea on your program.

  • Love how they knew you by name :)

  • Cops aren't all bad, i occasionally work with them at my security job and they seem like decent guys who take their jobs seriously.

  • You all want freedom to videotape....but admit it, you all friggen love it after shoving a camera in someones face and seizing the opportunity to bicker back and forth about it then running home with a woody to post it on youtube.

  • notice the masonic pins on his lapel !, ah, just a coincidence ?

  • More cops like this... Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

  • A true 'Peace Officer'.

  • YESS!

I love how embarrassed he looked when you asked if "do you think that's appropriate?"

Micro expression: He shook his head.

  • great to see the officers doing a great job.

  • I loved him tripping as he fled it was sorta like a authoritarian fail.

  • Well I'll be damned....

An honest officer that knows the law....

    and defends it....

  • Two of em.

  • maybe he should get a job at Wal-Mart as a greeter, that way he doesn't have to move and trip over things.

  • or make judgements on people. but he can sure hand out his stickers he's so damn concerned about.

  • lol, he tripped over

  • "Do you think that's appropriate?"

Nice line. I sometimes wonder what to say when people tell me about silly rules, as if they are the most normal thing in the world.

  • he was just a nervous old man.

  • Guy looked older than dirt, and when he started grabbing for the camera... i though he was going to have convulsions then fall and die! Wow, who hires senior citizens? Ha ha, cop ownage!

  • Every now and then a couple good cops actually act appropriately.

  • get outta town!!!!

    super cool...

  • Did you get the names of the cops? There is an inclination to name and shame cops who go beyond the normal police function to limit liberty. Perhaps its appropriate to name and honour those who defend rights. Might be counter-productive though.

  • It was cool that the troopers took up for you and your right to record. I really like it when the police do the right thing. I can't wait to move to NH - looking like late 2011 - but hopefully sooner!

  • Nice little masonic emblem and pentagram lapel pin.

  • Now Thats What Im Talking About !!

  • Ridley! Wear a suit. Look professional. "Please don't touch my video camera. That's assault."

WTF is that? Watch "The Caine Mutiny" as your penance.

That old guy with the Masonic pin probably fought in some war somewhere for liberty.

  • Check out his mason pin on his jacket. What a tool!

  • Is there another place in the general assembly room that has a better vantage point that the press uses... maybe that's what the stickers are for?

I wonder about this old guy... didn't seem like a bad guy trying to push you around... until you asked him if he was going to arrest you. At least that's my interpretation of his demeanor and actions.

  • I get a headache when I see cops become good guys.

Cause then I forget what world/time I'm in.

Don't get me wrong, I like Peace Officers... especially when they exercise force constitutionally (or just mere presence) to protect Life/Liberty/Property from others.

  • Anyone else notice the freemasonic emblem pinned to his lapel?

  • I did - above his name tag - metal name tag. Not sure what the others were - texas rangers maybe?

  • If they don't know Ridley by now, geesh!

We had a few scuffles with the ACORN people on Friday and the cops left us alone. Hodes was scared and called the cops. What a chicken.

  • That loser Hodes. pussy ass bitch.

  • Holy crap a employee of the state apologized!!!! I think that is a worlds first maybe even a Guinness book of worlds records should be made aware of it.

  • Maybe the guy was trying to hint to you to apply for a media pass so you can tape from the floor...

I hope you turn this little harassment into that. I'd like to see these politicians faces.

  • I got the same impression. Until Ridley asked if he was going to arrest him, Old Guy didn't seem to be trying to necessarily force something on the Press-that-is-Ridley.

  • Love the thumbs-down with no response.

I just call it like I see it. I usually come across as rabid when rights are trampled, but sometimes I think people pick fights "in the name of liberty."

  • That security guy, he knows what really goes on there. That's why he's trying to prevent you from taping. It's funny the camera made him so nervous he didn't know what to do. He must know those congress people well. Guys like, I'll start a fight with any whipper snapper wants to come out his mouth to me with a camera. I'd have subdued him for assaulting me on the balcony. JoKing. Cops arriving to the subduction scene would surely get it backwards. Ain't seen em again? He was paid it seems.

  • Excellent job

  • lol!

    Remain Calm! that was pro.

  • walking fail.

  • "You're all set MR Ridley" ......I wonder if they would have been that polite if Dave hadn't been filming.

  • hope so - this is New Hampshire after all

  • Score one for the good guys.

  • First, Dave, I'm happy to see that you're going to be reporting on some political stuff. I've missed your coverage on that stuff.

Second, the officer at 1:27 is a quality guy. I've talked to him before and have a lot of respect for him. I find him to be friendly and an example of what a police officer should be (that is, he's polite, professional and not out to find trouble, but just tries to make sure everyone is safe).

  • why don't they just go inside and use the stairs.

  • As always, Ridley rocks.

I can only hope to be as polite as you when they one day haul me off to jail. ;-)

  • I appreciate how you handled the situation without dishonoring yourself. When the man apologized you accepted his apology and it probably made him think a lot more than cursing him out or getting angry would have. Aside from that, I think Edge Ascension seems dangerous with or without the equipment. Hopefully you believe in the products and services you advertise for. Don't turn into a whore for industry.

  • I AM DAVE RIDLEY

  • great to see LEO's DEFENDING your rights Dave.

  • Awesome.

  • Ridley, it takes courage and time to speak up against and to POWER in such a way that you are generating positive impact. You have been a "cool" voice that is clearly gaining respect from the POWERS that be. You are teaching them lessons without making them, our fellow citizens, your enemy. Very Kool!!!!. tj

  • see government is force they are not your friend it is your duty to abuse them and make them do what you tell them when you do they fall in place eventually

  • They are a force and not our friend, correct. However, they do not deserve abuse any more than you or I, UNTIL they start violating rights.

  • Like getting paid with tax dollars they help extract?

  • Police will always be paid by tax dollars... Let's say they magically revert to ideal peace officers, would they still deserve abuse simply because you pay them?

  • Nobody acting peacefully deserves to be abused.

I might opt to stop paying if I did not value their services and might hire someone else. Certainly two cops and an usher seem to be overkill as far as resourcing is concerned to deal with a man and a camera. So I am sure I could get better value than that offered here.

  • My comments were not referring to the specifics of this incident but regarding RunsWitGuns comment about a supposed duty to abuse government people in general.

  • Police will always be paid by tax dollars?

The question is why? Is that the only means by which protection services can be provided? By the forced extraction of wealth by all the customers that they want to "serve?"

  • It would be ideal if police were unnecessary in our society. But, realistically, how would you pay the police if not by tax dollars?

  • Rereading my response. I suppose I wasn't clear enough. By asking the question, "Is that the only means by which protection services can be provided?" I was stating that protection services are something that can be funded voluntarily as opposed through the theft of people's money by taxation. Your thoughts?

  • If I'm still being unclear please let me know. I want to try and be as clear as possible.

  • I hadn't really considered that... Well trained volunteer police who have sworn an oath to the Constitution would be great. There's a history of volunteer fire departments, so why not?

  • I love it!
