I cannot believe she just mixed basil and vegetable oil. Olive oil is what any italian person would use and so much better for you.

What kind of oil do you use? I hope it's Olive oil, because if it's another kind, well, you ruined your pesto!
And usually the pesto (or kind of pesto, without the all ingredients) is made with fresh basil.
