Yes, it contains same wavetables but not exactly all parameters that XT has. I don't remember full list about differencies but i have both so i know.

That was another reason me to keep XT after buying Blofeld, besides of XT's hands on control.

I would have applied an ADSR to the wavetable though, to keep that nice sweeping action on the triggers.

yumyum i have a 10 voice xt & a 30 voice xtk. they are my fave synth, i have a virus c but it just aint got the balls like an xt. i mean they go sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo­ooooooo low its disturbing

Waldorf used many different types of knobs, colors of orange, display lenses on the XT racks. Same with the Q.

This is really nice. The Waldorf XT is just one of the best digital synths ever made. I have a Blofeld, but it's not the same. All the knobs really help you get the most out of this amazing sound palette.

I don't get it ..the first series of the microwave xt was with the plastic above the display but with other knobs ( those that fell of quickly )

The one that you have with the cone shaped knobs are the second bunch ...

That's odd, on mine the wave selection and filter cutoff knobs are red. Is yours an early model or something?
