  • Thank You for covering this story Haru Matasa. We in the west don't acknowledge nearly often enough the risks you take covering stories like this. Thank You

  • All African leaders should be shot. They have nothing to offer to their countries except misery and wars.

  • what is wrong with this world, if they cant go to war with other countries, they will start killing each others using stupidity as an excuse, WHEN are we going to advance our brains and live and respect life equally to all. IT IS SAD UGLY GREEDY PATHETIC WORLD.

  • Africans should be left to solve their own problems in their own ways instead of being manipulated by COLONIAL powers. Idriss Deby who is now being helped to stay in power became president in 1990 after staging a Coup d'Etat and ousting Hissene Habre whom he had earlier help bring to power. COLONIAL INTERFERENCES make it impossible for Africans to plan and reach their goals. Colonial control of Africa is enslaving the Negro. Saudi Arabia is a "colony" of Bush's America and England.

  • Next time Arabs send some money to Africa to help the starving or needy let me know! Africans have been given every opportunity under the sun to make a living....

  • imported: How fun is your comment to read. "Africans have been given . ." Africa is shut out of every consideration of participating in the global economy, with few exceptions. It is and has always been the victim of a worldwide apartheid.

  • How the hell can Africa expect to participate in a successful global economy when it can barely produce enough to keep its own people alive? Please don't start looking to put the blame on other countries or suggest that white politics has been detrimental to Africa. Look at the facts: Somalia, Sudan, Chad, Zimbabwe, Congo, Liberia, Rwanda, Uganda, Liberia, Sierra Leone....

  • imported: I can hardly know what part the raw materials of Africa, or its climate, as examples, may play a role in its economic difficulties. But you blamed the African people themselves. You're blaming the victims.
