thanks for sharing, i was thinking of buying one of these, shame these demo's are always funky jazz type crap. sounded quite good to start with though. jury still out on whether i'd buy one cos i wouldnt play that kind of music in a million years. drums sound decent though so thanks again.
Actually, they are amazing keyboards, the 3000s, I heard they were comparable to $1000 boards and bought one, I gotta say they werent kidding - cheap and awesome machines
@dclaymoore sounds good--but I wonder if someone can learn to play on it as well as one with weighted keys? I've messed around with weighted key keyboards a little at music stores and they seem better than non-weighted types---I wonder could I learn the basics on the 3000 and when I get more skilled, step it up to weighted type? If I took piano lessons on regular piano, could I do my home practice on this keyboard so I could learn to play a regular acoustic piano?
@micmoable Good question. The main thing that I WISH it had was weighted keys. The sound is so clear and pleasing. I had this same plan in mind, to start with non-weighted and move to weighted when I am more skilled. And honestly, I jump around from both weighted and non-weighted pianos and do just fine. You can feel the quality of weighted keys, but in no way will it hinder your skill to upgrade someday. GReat keyboard to learn with and play for years before an upgrade.
Great! Good keyboard

Sorry, Synthesized13, just saw your comment. Petty much the only difference is the 3000 has a 76 note keyboard and the 8000 has an 88 note keyboard.
