  • I know your focus is hair but you do your makeup very well. Especially in the Tropic Isle Jamaican Black Castor video. Any future makeup tutorials in the mix?

  • @SunShine43v3r1 Awww thank you. I'm a makeup artist when I'm not on yt

  • Traycee, I'm not even sure what my hair texture is, but I haven't relaxed my hair for 7 years. I'm now 23. I've been blessed to always have had long hair (mid-back). And I have been following all your videos on styling etc, to learn how to do my own hair, keep it healthy (and save money) lol but I'm just not sure how to air dry with my slightly wavy roots and semi curly ends (with strands of straight). I've tried the braiding method, but it turns into a tight curly braid out. And if I use the

  • hey is Bee mine shampoo and conditioner saulfate free?

  • Where did you buy your sweet almond oil? I have been looking everywhere for it.

  • @Scotchgirl .. GNC vitamin store

  • I'm relaxed, but when I wash or Co-wash my hair, it curls up, and there'se just no way I can get it a little bit flatter without blow drying, do you have anyy tipsss?

  • how long have u been usung the bee mine products

  • can u air dry in two twists also?

  • LOL!! HOW YOU SAID "SO MANY BRAIDOUT TUTORIALS IT'S RIDICULOUS. Cause i dont understand ppl keep asking answered questions eitheir their're not folowing up the videos or are first timers, i dont even have vdeos and its annoyng to me

  • what was the reason for putting the scarf on after putting in the leave in conditioner and other products?

  • @myerie08 ...It lays your edges down flat and make them look neat and slick

  • Wow after watching this it really makes me wonder if thats why when I air dry my ends are always fuzzy looking if that even makes since but Ima try doing it in braids b/c I thought it was just I had split ends or something

  • what exactly is "co washing?" ive never heard of that

  • @kenziemae12 washing with conditioner. it adds extra moisture and is not stripping like most shampoos

  • thanks lady.

  • do u use roller sets??

  • I just stumbled upon this video - I just wanted to say that you are so helpful and informative - thank you so much :D X

  • Do you still use the Redken Smooth Down Butter Treat or the Burt's Bees Avocado Pre-Shampoo Treatment?...if not would you still recommend them?

  • @missCOCO619 ...I still love both products... I only use the Smooth Down Butter when I flat iron because it has so many cones... I love love the Burts Bee Avocado but have trouble finding it most of the time... The couple of places that sell it is always sold out

  • you look so cute in this vid! :)

  • Thanks your tips really helped me!!!

  • This is SO helpful. Favorited!

    Lola Re

  • Very helpful~I'm gonna try your tips.

  • I tried the cold water rinse today, its the truth!! It what i was missing. I final rinse with cold water WOW what a difference. Also tried the scarf method (but w/ a pony tail + roller) came out prefect. I just threw in my normal leave ins, HE LTR, Proclaim natural 7 oil, and Chi Silk infusion for shine, and I swear the strands look like I flat ironed.. and im 9 weeks post. (I used a brush for smoothing). I almost feel like selling my precious Solia flat iron now. TY so much for the video

  • @Ellexis88 ...

    Good for you...No don't sell the iron..hahahaha

  • Tracey your cranking out these vids girl I can't keep up! OMG 90 degrees we are bearly pushing 65 here in Philly!

  • @ltoomey82 ....Im trying to keep them going for you guys

  • Thanks for the air drying tips but I'm a little lost. When you placed the hair scarf on your head the first time, was that to lay your edges down while your ends were air drying some?

  • @SoftNSweetG ...Yes the scarf lays the edges down....hahahhaa...I just got a relaxer so I really didn't need to do that but its a habit...

But yes thats to lay down the edges

  • you have beautiful skin!

  • @chinablk ....Thank you...So do you !!!

  • Does Bee mine have sulfates? Im not even sure the "sulfates' are all that bad.. I have 4a hair... any idea? I have been using the Suave professionals shampo/conditioner that compares to Aveda Dry remdy and i love it... but i will change if i should** THANKS!

  • @KellGlamourous ...No Sulfates, no cones, Paraben free...All Natural

If you not experiencing any problems then your fine...

Sulfates strip the hair of moisture

  • Very Helpful!

  • @fgrogan ...Thanks Sis

  • You look so beautiful without makeup on.

  • @ilovecandles24.. I agree

  • Your earrings are beautiful!

  • please do a video on how to do a swoop because i never can without a GLOB of hair

  • Bunning a lot causes damage? Oh my gosh bunning is the way to go but at the same it can be bad? sigh :(

  • @whitemenaresexy

I've bunned for a year and a half and my hair has grown alot! I would say bunning won't cause breakage if: a) you rotate where you put the bun and , b) you don't bun tightly and use ouchless bands.

I used to experience breakage with ponytails that were too tight but not with my buns! HTHs!

    Thanks for the vid, Traycee!

  • I have been bunning regularly because i like my hair off of my neck at work. I recently noticed that i was experiencing very slight breakage right in the center of my hair when it is down. it looks like i need to trim 3/4 to 1/2 inch to correct this. Any suggestions on how to avoid this. I thought i was moisturizing and sealing enough.

  • TY for doing this video! I learned so much. I decided a about 3 weeks ago to do away with heat tools. And the health of my hair has turned around. TY TY for the tips!!!

Oh and your skin and hair looks great! and that pink scarf is real cute too, haha :)

  • cool vid!

  • i love your videos. Thank you so much for the tips. I am not an African-American woman, but i do have curly hair. I am very happy i found yor blog and your channel because i started loving my hair thanks to you :) Now i wear it in a bun or i do a braid out, and i try to use less and less heat! Thank you for the wonderful videos! :) take care :)

  • thanks for the video traycee i was one of the ladies that requested an airdrying video a while back thanks for taking the time to show us. we love u.

  • Tracy, did u relax already? i missed that, i thought you were stretching.

  • Hi Traycee,

I noticed you started the bunning challenge and I was wondering how do you maintain your ends with the buns because I notcied my ends always lokk dry and brittle after I wear a bun for a few days. Thanks

  • @toytoyfresh ....Im about to do my bun now....I will go ahead and tape it for you...I should have it later up today...I have a few little tricks..lol

  • great video ms.traycee. my issue is the crown of my hair once hair dry is so nappy i cant get a comb thru it out all. its a zoo in there lol. so course idk what to do with it anymore

  • @kimmy8188 ...Yeah I would definitely suggest air drying in braids or twist...This helps stretches the hair while it dries

  • great video & tips. Ive been on my journey 8 months but, I haven't even heard some of these tips your mentioning.

  • @virg0diva ..Thanks..I'm 2 1/2 years into my journey and I'm still learning new things and better ways to do things...

  • You are so right. I co-washed today and, GOODNESS! Your tips REALLLLLLY HELPED. my hair airdried SOOOOO moisturized & this whole time I thought I had porosity issues. Is it normal for your ends to be frizzy afterward though?

  • i looove air drying & finishing my wash with cold water :-)

    love the vid sis :-)

  • @nunaavane ...Hey Sis...I know your a fan of air drying too

  • What a great video!! The cool water tip was right on. My mom used to to that to me and I would scream b/c the water was so cold LOL Im going to try the loose braid next time I air dry. Thanks for sharing this!

  • @missthis897 ...lol...I have a shower head that is attached to a hose...So when I do my cool water rinse I lean foward and use the hose and its not too bad...hahahaha

  • Yeah, the shower head being attached to a hose makes it a whole lot easier to do the cool water final rinse. Thanks for the video.
