I love Sonyae's the best due to the fact that it may not be as mainstream as Jes's See Through, i can see this being played on urban and rhytmic stations in addition to mainstream/Top 40 stations. Jes's song is one i can hear Katy perry sing while Sonyae's is more of Nicki Minaj

@layshawnedwards I saw the reason why they sent Nick home over Jes and it boiled down to "do we take good lyrics w/ no melody or bad lyrics w/ good melody." and clearly they chose Jes' melody. But, I feel like it's EASY to fix someone who can write lyrics but doesn't produce the best melodies-Nick-as opposed to someone who can't write GOOD lyrics. Nick has been consistent with his melodies in the past. Jes has struggled with producing lyrics. So in this past round, I think they chose wrong.

@florstrick Not really, because his lyrics were horrible and he's known for great pop melodies. Jes is more or less hit or miss on lyrics but her melodies are usually among the most memorable of the contestants.

Also, it's much easier to fix lyrics than concepts or melodies.
