Good cover,rock on.But comparing to the original arrangement by Martin Tallstrom,this sounds a bit dull.And that's because you're not relaxed when playing.Your pinky on the right hand is stranded on the body of the guitar and this is not good.You'll always be in a convulsion,you limit yourself.Change your right hand position so the pinky could be free just like the other fingers and everything will be much easier and your playing will be a lot more relaxed and listenable

To anyone attempting this, here's a quick tip. Instead of hitting the tenth fret on the 4th and 6th strings, just hit the fifth fret on the 3rd and 5th. It makes the verse a bit easier to play. You'll know what I mean when you open up the tab. Great cover btw.

I'm confused. Do I tune my guitar up/down to G, then put the capo on the third fret? Because the tab says the sixth string should be tuned to D. I'm so confused! o.O

@achillesboett you tune down generally, but go to whatever is closest, so for example D is very close to E, so its easier to tune E down to D, rather than tuning E an octave up to get to the next D.

Also watch out for tense strings, if you feel like its gonna snap, you're most of the time doing it wrong.

From looking at the tab, I would tune all of the strings except A down.

you did great on playing martin's piece.. more practice i think.. IMO, you should work more on connecting the notes, add a little tempo (maybe when you get used to playing it a dozen times) and work on the timing. But over all you did a great job in completing it. practice makes perfect.. TE says Get to Work!

I'm in the process of learning this too but restructuring it to make it easier to sing and play at the same time. I noticed we use the same pinky anchor thing for this song. Do you notice your pinky is sore after you play it? Anyways, just an observation. Good work.
