I get the analogy, the way it's presented here is slightly more original than the preachy "WAKE UP SHEEPLE" videos of the same form. But I still have issues with it.

We've got a massive human population. We're going to have massive groups of people moving around together no matter what. Most of these people function as cogs to keep the group as a whole moving smoothly. But is that really a bad thing? The alternative is genocide in order to trim down the global population.

eating animals isnt a bad thing i reckon, there ment to be there for us to use and eat. but i mean there has to be a better way then throwing chickens onto steel dividers, or lifting them by the neck. ive worked in a chicken factory packaging, but the killing of these animals is quite sad. especially when u have 18 yr olds showing off how strong they are by throwing size 24 chickens into cages. wat a world

The obvious difference is that the chicks have absolutely no choice in what's happening to them in this sequence, whereas the people at least get to choose where and how they move about. I don't see any people stuck upside down beneath a pile of other people with one leg poking up comically in that clip of people packed onto the subway, do you? And it's just laughable to suggest that office buildings are on par with battery egg farms in terms of overcrowding.

In actual fact, the chicks have no nerve endings in their beaks at that or any other stage of their development. the burning is scary for them but does not cause much if any pain. it is actually somewhat humane as it is done to prevent the chicks from attacking their neighbors once they are adults.

If they weren't packed like sardines they would not even attack each other. Chickens in factory farms actually cause harm to each other because they don't have the room to establish a proper pecking order.
