@TheOpenMinded12460 Nice song and beautiful rainbow effect! However ABC could have made the color a little bit better and could have been brighter. But the ABC symbol was reflective. Nice job!
Yeah, I'd have to agree with u. This one is inferior to Start Here and the 5-yr. yellow/black era IMO. Cause compared to those two, this one is BOR-ING!!! At least now, ABC has incorporated a slogan, after going for about 7 years w/o one.
CBS has one too, don't they? It was used in the 1992-1995 ID and is also incorporated into the CBS Evening News theme (those first three notes going into the headline bed at the beginning).
This was the 4-note tune used starting the second year of the yellow-and-black look, when Pittard Sullivan refined the design to a very, VERY rigid standard.
This ID is alright, I guess... I prefer the 1997-1999 ones, though.

The newer ABC idents suck. When i watch the 90s idents, they are so much better.

I never liked this ID or graphics package. I prefer the yellow and black look and the Start Here look to the 2006 one.

Crispy ident!

There is a still version of this that appears occasionally with the announcer saying, "This is ABC." You won't see it too often, though.

Ooh, pretty graphics.
Though I miss "This is ABC."

Does that four note theme tune have a name, like the NBC chimes?

I don't think so.

Actually, it does mean something: "We love TV."
This was the 4-note tune used starting the second year of the yellow-and-black look, when Pittard Sullivan refined the design to a very, VERY rigid standard.

I miss that yellow and black look...it was very simple, yet elegant.

Ntropolis, you should have the ones from the previous two years: 2004-05 and 2005-06. I have both.
